A really easy way to improve your sound is to move your ligature up. Right now it's pushed all the way to the bottom of the mouthpiece, so the reed is moving too freely, accounting for some of the squeaks. The top of the ligature should rest along the mid-point of the reed (if you use Rico reeds, there is a definite line distinguishing this area). Hope that helps!

Well I have been playing for 3 years and I all can say is you might need some more practice. I have been first chair for all three years, also I got this piece today at school and it is extremely easy compared to my other pieces. And the octave I play in is really much higher than that. One tip in the video you sounded really flat so you need to firm up your omeasure.

This isnt actually that great. I like how you learned it and recorded it and had the guts to post it, cuz i would be too scared lol.. You need to put more air, sit up straight, and work on your rythem for tonguing and such. Try putting a little more mouth peice in. Ive only been playing for 5 years, and by means no professional, but just repeating what my band director tells me. Great potential!! =)
