  • I remember this level on Battlefield!

  • Never gets old!

  • Pure badass

  • Is this just a test run, or are you on a mission?

  • @ImGalactic Pilots are always flying for a reason. USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) and her air wing is deployed now so this pilot could very well have flown in country to support troops on the ground.

  • @usnavy Hey I'm a junior in high school and I've wanted to fly for the navy for as long as i can remember, can you please tell me how I should accomplish this? Thanks a lot.

  • @Bronxboyproductions Go to the US Naval Academy and graduate top in your class.

  • lol at 0;41 sounds like a harly

  • whats that smoke on deck

  • @rusher80 Its not smoke, It's actually steam. The catapult's are powered by steam.

  • True it is for long time.

  • The Marshalls signs make it even more badass

  • the battlefield song is meant to come up at 0:48

  • in BF3 the launch is too fast lol

  • @gerry7man555

Wrong, this video is fake, never compare bf or cod to rl, compare rl with one of those.

  • how do you know when your about to be catapulted

  • @dodgingdaniel The flight deck crew gives you signals and the pilot is in constant comm with the HQ

  • @dodgingdaniel The pilots have communications with some on deck as well as the Air Boss in the flight tower. Visual aids would be looking at the Shooter (Officer in yellow jersey, khaki pants). Once he kneels to the side and points up the catapult that is him giving the signal for the ABE behind him under the flight deck to release the break.

  • So.. let's get that damn achievement/trophy now.

  • So I see alot of f-14, f-15 and f-18 in cockpit videos why are there no f-22A raptor in cockpit videos??? is it still to new and "classified"?

  • and i work in a factory.

    sigh.

  • @amartinjoe And I print junkmail. Bigger sigh.

  • thought i was playing battlefield 3 for a minute.

  • and here's me thinking my motorbikes fast !!!!

  • Nobody is asking why he has his right hand on the grab bar? Nope, it's not to hold on for dear life! Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?

  • @Nfarce I'm not a Navy pilot, but I understand it's to keep the guy from unintentionally pulling on the stick during the high G acceleration.

  • @Nfarce In the F/A-18, the launch is computer controlled. Any accidental input from the pilot could interfere with that. So, it's hands off the stick until the aircraft is airborne. At least, that's what I've read.

  • @DannyB587 - Yeah I knew that already. Just seeing who else knew it lol. Tomcat pilots never had grab the bars as far as I can tell, so the accidental stick hit reason doesn't add up too well.

  • Man that is cool! It looks so fun!

  • Pilot: I have no clue what the waving of your arms mean buddy...is it go time?

  • Damn I get nervous/anxious watching this. Would probably feel nerve wracking first time
