I'd say Bush Sr.'s connections to CIA at that time were tenuous, at best. At most, he was probably considered an "asset" due to his business connections. But it's a bit of a stretch to suggest he was an active spook.
Why did he call the FBI from Tyler, TX? Well, he was en route from his home in Houston to Dallas when he heard the news, and the nearest phone was in Tyler. Seems reasonable enough to me.

I believe that Oswald acted alone. Connally said "they got us from the back" and that he heard a rifle shot from the rear. He said this on 11/22/63.
It is true that people surged up the grasy knoll, but no shooter was found. A Dallas radio broadcast this at the time.
Witnesses saw a man in the upper part f the TSBD bldg. Their description led to Tippetts shooting and Oswald's arrest
Jean Hill lied in interviews given that day. Mr. Nix's video shows she never went up the knoll.

i listed a couple of books that stats the facts instead of someone's theory. As for the witnsses who heard shots from other places. These are the facts. Many people heard different things but the fact is over 90% of people there said there were less then 4 shots. Witnsses saw 3 shots fired from the 6th floor. Witnsses on the 5th floor heard 3 shots from right above them and even got hit with some plater from the ceiling. the heard the shell casings drop.

Why have we not heard that Ruby worked for Richard Nixon??? That is a HUGE detail. It had been rummored that some of the erased Nixon tapes included details surronding the assasination of JFK. I was almost drugged by the drug used on Ruby by George H.W. Bush and the Plumbers. It's a clear vaporous liquid developed by CIA. Perhaps a mix of isoflurane and one of a hundred compounds that have amnesic or hyper-suggestibility effects. Delivery was by inhalation from a brandy snifter.

I'm really NOT a conspiracy-theory type. I'm a staunch conservative and I think the people who believe 9/11 was an inside job are just plain nuts. But every time I see that Zapruder film, it just baffles me. It just doesn't seem at all logical that the force of a bullet hitting from behind could make the head jerk BACKWARDS. But hey...I DO realize I may be wrong. It just makes no sense to me.

JFK head first moves forward then a neromuscular reaction makes his head snapback. Lets assume JFK is shot from the front. The bullet would have left out the back and the brain and tissue would exit out the back not the front.

The main reason for the head moving as it did has to do with the "jet" action of the brain matter leaving his head in the generally forward direction and this results in an equal and opposite force moving the head rearward. This has been demonstrated using cadaver heads (20 of them!) shooting from the same distance, angle and with the same cartridge.

It doesn't necessarily matter where the final headshot bullet came from. It could have come from behind and there could still be a conspiracy.

Makes the statement "I want them to see what they have done" She kept it on for 15 hours to show Oswald? I for one don't think so. Then Johnson seals Kennedy records for 75 years and directs the CIA there will be no more assassinations overseas. If it walks like a duck?

The Dallas police couldn't catch a cold and managed to get Oswald killed. But we are to believe they (the police) figured out who the killer was and captured him in a matter of hours. Oswald acts like a man that just figured out he was setup to take the fall. Oswald's approach to press seems as if he would be more than happy to tell side. He never gets that chance. Ruby has cancer and dies in jail, pretty convenient

You just summed it up better than I could have. The idea that the shot which jerked JFK's head back and to the left was fired from behind by Oswald is laughable.
