I love your advice- I never follow a recipe! I watch youtube recipes to get ideas, and then I just do it my way, for example, I use to make lentil burgers with lentils and veggies and then I watched a youtube recipe and they put in walnuts. So, now I add walnuts and my burgers came out great, but I didn't measure, or follow thier recipe. Unless it's a type of food that I don't have experience with, then I'll follow the recipe. I think I'll try adding roasted peppers to my veggie burger
thanks for teaching me on how to cut pepper into dice....I'm student of food service and nutrition, but my cutting skill is worse...did it really practise make perfect??

I am just starting to view your youtube posts and enjoy them. Since onions, garlic and shallots come in different sizes, what constitutes a large/medium/small onion/shallot/garlic bulb?
Hi chef, just like to ask you whether could you show us how to prepare an alio oligo. the dry pasta that is pan fried. I am really interested to learn to cook it for my love one
I love your videos. I've been going every meal in my house for the last 10 years (I'm 22). I've been considering going into the culinary field, after going to culinary school. I'm just not digging my current B.A.'s field.
I agree with you entirely. The problem with many people's diets is that they choose by convenience rather than quality. If you find your kitchen intimidating, then convenience is all that's left. Once you're excited to create new things in your own kitchen, then you can concentrate on whole foods, fresh ingredients and having fun!
I really hope these videos catch on. People are eating out too often i find. It's good for the restaurant business but people are suffering from the abundant unhealthy choices out there.
The light-hearted energy and simplicity of your videos makes them fun and easy to follow. And after watching them, the viewer is encouraged to cook at home, and that can eliminate a lot of the unhealthy cooking process/ingredients used in restaurants.
Helpful video

Thank you Chef Mohr! I just cut the green pepper the wrong way for dinner. Seeds all over the place. Then I found your video. Very helpful.

cool, learned something new. I still would like to know if you can then freeze peppers after cutting for later use

I always do...howeverChef Todd Mohr did a video on charring the skin, plunging it into cold water, and then freezing.
