I'd like to know if Al Seely's hermit cabin is still on Dismal Key. He would paddle to Goodland to trade from time to time. He's passed away now. There was a great story on him 25 years ago and how he came to be the hermit of Dismal Key.
That was our club trip we did, we lead guided trips in the area, most folks are from clubs around the country, so they have an idea of kayaking and what to expect, making it super fun to get to know one another... Love Cape Sable, !!
Love Cape Sable, spent some time at Middle Cape this Feb with a friend...The deeper water is a nice change of pace - check out Lake Ingram, there are some beautiful places to poke around in the north part of the lake, you can go up a campsite or two from there (I think NW Cape)
Was this a sponsored tour or did you guys plan it from home? I just got back from the 'glades and we only stayed on one island, but we stayed for 3 days and fished in the bay and in the mangroves. Your video is excellent. What video editing software did you use?

I had a blast when me and my buddies went to the 10,000 islands. We stayed on some of these same islands.
