  • Fine looking smokes

  • I stumbled across this video and find it very interesting. My grandparents rolled cigars for many years. I grew up around Ybor City, and used to visit them in the factories when I was a kid. They use a kind of resin on their fingertips to make the leaves stick. There was always a pile of chopped tobacco (differently cured) for the center and then they would wrap it with the leaves. Some times there would be a person reading the news papers from a podium while the workers rolled.

  • I didn't really dig the woman saying "good job, good job!" to the guy, like you would to a little kid...

But otherwise, nice video, and nice to see a pro @ work.

  • What is he spraying on the tobacco leaves?

  • oil

  • @libtechsk8er

He's spraying water to keep them moist.

  • @cassijc that water looks yellow. or is it the bottle??

  • You mean the customers? Hard to have a cigar business with no cigar customers

  • @antics55 It was a cigar party! And he was not the least bit annoyed - he was enjoying himself as much as everyone else.
