Does anybody know the name of the actor who provided the voice for this vignette and many others? Whoever he was, he had a very small part in one of the Godfather movies, he played one of the senators in the congressional inquiry scene.
I always loved this one. I have a question though. After the arrow goes "whooshing" by, and he says "watch it will ya" he mumbles something. It almost sounds like he says "what the hell was that?" or something, I highly doubt that he does, but it be interesting to know what he did say. Thanks for the post mstatz, and all the other sesame street posts as well. Great memories!!!
I liked the sound effects in this one! When I heard the ashcan 'clanking' against the side of the letter 'A,' I know that this is one of the clips I so dearly remember! I also remember the animals (lion, elephant) coming down in the avalanche! I give this clip an 'A'!
Funny, I was actually thinking about this clip today! I also remembered there was a Spanish version with a few variations on the objects thrown against the 'A'.
Back when I saw this when I was 3 years old, I didn't get the idea that the guy was hurt from the avalanche and needed an ambulance. I also remember the Spanish version saying "ambulancia."
When I watch these now, I can see the objective here is simply to know what begins with A, as opposed to knowing how to spell these words. I honestly don't think I could have spelled Avalanche back when I watched this.
NEVER FORGET!!

The only time I've ever seen anyone hanging out the back door of an ambulance. He may need it even more soon.
