Lulz. I finished BG1 weeks ago and yes, I did kill Drizzt. I've done it before, it isn't that hard. You simply swarm him with summons and hit him with missle weapons. Funny you should bring it up though because I have moved on to baldur's gate 2 and actually just killed not only Drizzt but also Cattie Brie, Wulfgar and that annoying dwarf with the pink hammer. Sad part is though, I don't even use any of their items! Bwaahahahahahahahahaa!!!!

I always thought that Drow's eyes can be a certain color in ultraviolet and in the darkness...so in the darkness they could look red but really be violet, or yellow to another color. Just a thought.

In the Legend of Drizzt series there is 13 books, however, there is also the Hunter's Blades Trilogy (which is technically part of the same series) and the Transition series (which is a continuation of The Hunter's Blades Trilogy). There is also The Sellsword series which follows the adventures of Entreri and Jarlaxle on the surface. So, in total there are 22, although The Pirate King and the Ghost King, which are books two and three respectively of the Transition series are not out yet.
