But basically, umps will eject a player/manager anytime they get personal, or are just yelling insults and not even arguing their point. I don't understand some sports. Why are players allowed to get away with so much? In rugby you might get a warning for talking back, after that you'd be penalised. The players don't get anywhere near the refs so this sort of thing doesn't happen.

I'm not saying one sport is better than the other, but the officiating certainly is. There are a number of other sports that are the same.

If a ref/umpire makes a call then it should be obeyed, right or wrong. That's what you sign up for.
