I wanted to be there so badly! I have lost so many to suicide; including my best friend at 14, my Uncle at 16 and my grandparents at 21. I wanted to do this walk for them, thank you for posting this, it helped me be there in a sense. The song would have been my choice as this song is I believe universal for all of us 'left behind'..Thank you from the bottom of my heart for posting and helping to raise awarness for this cause.

ugh, what a song to touch my heart about my 17 year old Travis I lost 2 years ago.

So glad someone wrote it......such a huge problem in our country that largely is ignored.

@suzanneallexan I used this song to open my son's memorial service and brought 450 people to tears. Do you participate in any of AFSP's fund raisers or support groups?
