lots of potential from this one - she has the same basic quality that separates Gary Burton, Keiko Abe, Leigh Stevens, etc. from all the rest of us. I refer of course to her being a musician that happens to play percussion, rather than a percussionist playing some music. I may as well point out specifically that she doesn't play like a stapler the way most marimbists do - the notes are the product of her motion rather than the motion being what is required to "hit" all the notes. Impressive.

Great playing. Very accurate, and also musical. Astoundingly good for a 15 year old. I'm sure you'll be making waves in a few years.
