  • Damn, hater's gonna hate for really no reason. You managed to find yourself some mightily foul-mouthed trolls to comment on your video. :P

Nice conversion. I've heard many people have to trim so much off of the ATI stock that I'm a little nervous to get one and even more nervous that I might fuck it up when I go to work on it.

I really think that if I put a scope on mine, it's going to be a repro "stock" scope, but I'm probably just gonna stick with tritium or fibre sights. Maybe a red dot.

  • @gymkhanadog lol i know right... its not bad.. just time consuming... my scope setup didnt work.. kept sliding loose... as a last ditch effort i had cut notched in the ring bases and driven posts through the existing pin holes to try and keep it secure... i like the idea of tritium sights.. that would be cool.

  • A professional video would be nice. The foul mouth turns viewer off immediately.

  • and another thing your gunna start crying about paying $120 for your mosin?? grow some chest hair an man up or better yet go do the world a favor and take yourself out of the gene pool although i seriously doubt that you have even ever seen a womans lady parts other than your twelve year old nieces bald little snatch while you make her touch your little pecker cus her moms out suckin cock to put cornbread on the table.

  • @Dustinxacfx 40 bucks is 40 bucks..... and for that 40 i could have your commie grandmother gum job my meat shank without her teeth in, whilst finger~diving knuckle deep in her reversable dirt ring. that whore's been through more cocks than a slaughter house. but lemme dispence with the pleasantaries for a momenT.. as far as ur other comment. why were you sucking dick to my mosin video???? please post a picture of your face for me.. i'd love to leave some "comments" for you. :)

  • sup woodrow you should seriously consider growing a beard to distract people from having to see your fully deformed backwoods cousin loving face cus seriously i almost barfed all over my boyfriends nuttsack ass soon as i seen your ugly ass redneck mug.

  • @Dustinxacfx llol

  • Love the review! I stopped shooting my 91/30 in favor of my M44.

Maybe if I get the monte carlo stock, I'll shoot it more often. I should just go to ebay and buy the kit that has the curved bolt handle and some drill bits and make it weaver rail ready....

I'm broke and I have a NcStar scope laying around, so I'll prolly just cut into it. But, I like the way your mosin turned out.

  • you are a dumbass

  • @7xrepiv is that the best u got?

  • its not free floating btw when you put your hand on the for grip it stops beeing "free floating" you would have to glass bed it to make it the way you alreay think it is and you should have just got a rem 700. its a cool gun to have cuz its older

and your scope needs to be back father closer to your face

  • @yaman123able i dont agree with ur comment on free floated. only the action was touching the stock. rem 700's r dope i agree. and its a scout scope. its supposed to be 8-11 inches from ur face, dont work otherwise

  • You paid a fair price

  • Haha funny guy. Your cursing reminds me of 4th grade

  • @1991araaron yeah, it kinda makes me cringe when i see how much i cursed in this vid, glad u found it funny though :)

  • this guy is funny .. good video

  • @jordowith5os ty

  • i can shoot quarter moa at 50,000 miles O.O haha just kidding, i like the idea on the scope, never thought of that. and as far as the stock goes, did you have any trouble with the mag feeding properly after you dropped it in? i've been have shit tons of trouble with my mag not feeding

  • @VivaLaBamUrDead yeah i had to trim a lot of material away so the ejector could have full range of motion. a dremmel would have been very useful

  • @zzohmzz i ended up doin the same thing haha. and even though i had a dremmel it still took a long time to get just the right amount off

  • Mosin nagants are an amazing piece of history, and they are awesome rifles. However, not only is it not worth sporterizing, it's ruining it's historic value, and it's overall worth. People who soprterize mosin nagants, ESPECIALLY all matching CN, are fucking idiots.

  • @CMH251 my cn were all striked out and remarked, the rifle wasnt exactly a great crisp example of a mn. if it makes u feel better i have reterned it to stock form

  • Why do yall care what grouping he has? He made a funny video about his mosin and what he did to it. I have a couple of mosin's and I give a shit about the grouping. I hit what I aim at. So if you don't like the video or the way he does things then change the channel. Nice video man. I know what you where doing when you made this vid.

  • What is this? is Joe Pesci from Good Fella's explaining the Mosin Nagant.

  • not trying to hate that much...but id prefer you to get a little bit more trigger time and drop the size on taht grouping...i took my stock m91/30. (not fully clean) out to the 100 yard range, it hit better than my scoped r710 (710 is the key word there) but about an inch or inch and a half group, now im going to modify it, but the ati scope mount conversion is actually better than your scope setup as of right now. and its roughly about $50 or so...

  • @Vanishing762x54 me too. tbh i have nad mad problems with the scope moving around cos there isnt enough dove tail to hold onto. i think thats effected my groups. i have made one more mod that i saw on here by driving pins through the existing pin holes and dremmeling notches for the scope mounts to help hold them in place. also i get way better groups with 180 grain match ammo than the cheap (was on sale 880 rnds for 140 shipped) 147 grain surplus im currently using.

  • @zzohmzz im actually going to the boltman to get my bolt bent for my "project" so far the barrel is free floated about half way of the ati stock from the breech. i got a 6-24x50m Leapers 5thgen scope. the mount is going to be screwed on pretty good, but i might end up welding some metal to the side of it because that scope weighs a good 3-6lbs. and i also got some yellow tips, 185's. those are the highest accuracy without loading, so that might also help some.

  • lol you're an idiot

  • Don't worry about what people say..........Have fun shooting your Mosin.......best of luck to you!

  • asshole.

  • im guessing he was just tugging your sack about the games

  • Funny Dude! And you would have taken it in the arse if you would have bought it online. The shipping and ffl fees are killers.............

  • @bigdogbuc yeah. i have a c+r licence now though :)

  • @zzohmzz sweet. I'm waiting on mine. ( =

  • First off, 1st person shooters do not make you "knowledgeable" about firearms. Based on the way you yanked the bolt out I can tell you have no fuckin clue on how to properly and safely handle a firearm. You have absolutely no clue about how to handle your rifle based on the way you jammed the bolt back into the receiver without depressing the trigger. Finally, 2.5" at 100 yards is a fucking joke, just like the video games, you would have been better off just not mentioning it.

  • @drifter2be lol and u know 0 about mn rifles. its a fookin tank. im sure ya remington 700 might fall apart if u dont insert the bolt at 0 degree's but my rifle was designed for 7 foot uncoordinated russian wrestlers with less than a 2nd grade education. after 90 years lets see ur weapon of choice get 2.5 moa my bore is dark yet shiney, the crown isnt perfect and im shooting cheap ass surplus ammo i do better with 180 grain. ill keep doing shit my way and ill let u know when it breaks! ok!

  • @zzohmzz Actually you dunno shit about shit. I happen to own several 91/30s, with my "sporterized" nagant I can do a 1.5" group at 300 yards with Romanian surplus ammo, btw its a 27 ex-dragoon with the original barrel. Stick to call of duty, you're probably better off that way, son.

  • @drifter2be so u own several but only quote 1 that was a sniper version. ok fag. lemme do the math... 2.5" (roughly) x 6 (hundred yards) = 15 inches (on a bad day).. yeah... im still hitting a man sized target!.... and u aint sonning shit. i shoot from a bipod not a benchrest. if i glued the fucker to a table id prolly get 1.5 at 300 too. get a life bitch. take the vid for what it is (lighthearted info) and shove ya "15 dollar more than mine" sniper mosin up ya shitbox, dickhead!

  • @drifter2be + differant guns of the same brand/make can react to ammo differently... if u were truly knowledgeable u would know this.

  • just fucking awesome vid bro lmao i just got mine today its also my first and only and found this vid doing research on the ati stock ... and fuck if u had any more h8ters youd be on tmz or sum shit lol

  • you are a funny dude. you play games so you know about firearms. i hope you dont go to the range i go to. i will give you this. this is a very entertaining video. you know its all over the web as a spoof right? people are laughing at your knowledge. thanks!

  • @RHAYES04 thats awesome. gimme some links. i saw some stuff posted on sksboards so i made an acct. 3 dudes trolled me, i responded "dont troll me bro" where i was immediatly sent a pm that MY responce was unacceptable. i fugured it was a dead loss posing on there and wrote the admin a very "interesting letter". im perm banned now hahahah!

  • yah i had to use brute force to get one of my pins out. i was afraid i was going to fuck up the pin so it would never come out, when i finally got it out with a big ass hammer i looked at the pin and the hole and there wasn’t a fuckin scratch on either. god dam russian guns are built like fuckin tanks!

  • @MrROTTENJUGGALO yeah me 2. i ended up taking it to a gunsmith cos i didnt want the liability of screwing up my own rifle. i had a hard time keeping the rifle from twisting when hitting the pin and i didnt wanna put it in a vice cos of the scratches. ill have a new vid out shortly of me murdering about 30 milk jugs @ 200 yds!

  • I'm really hoping this is a joke...

  • Great video man your fucking hilarious! Lol good video.

  • @323gunslinger thanks m8 im glad you enjoyed it :)

  • wow that scope is like 4 in high off the barrel

  • @csxconductor100 yeah it looks soo homo. i changed it with low rise scope rings from warne. it looks much better now. i kinda cringe when i see how high it is in this video

  • "I've played quake, doom, call of duty. So I know my shit." /Facepalm

  • Nice gun, honestly is that a good deal or what? Have you been deer hunting that rifle would be perfect for deer hunting?

  • @LRASS2009 nah bruv i only hunt paper, its a powerful fairly accurate rifle for not a lot of money. i'd say it was a good deal.

  • Nice gun, honestly is that a good deal or what? Have you been deer hunting?

  • actually 2 1/2 inches @ 100 yards is typical for most rifles

  • You sound australian but with a southern american accent?

  • boyds sells a amazing thumbhole stock for these

  • yur a funny mother fucker

  • @glasseverywhere thanks man. its apreciated

  • what accent do you have? sounds yorkshire half mixed with southern drawl? Im getting one of these ati stocks , nervous about the interrupter now haha.

  • @pjhoneycut good ear mate. i was born in oldham, manchester england and now i live in florida!

haha i might have had bad luck. plus i was kinda being really picky about perfect float on the barrel. i recommend the stock but i wouldnt expect for it to do much for your groups

  • playing video games does NOT make you a weapons expert at all. plus he said this was his "first and only firearm." so he is not an expert.

  • @skeeter0079 dude this was all done tongue in cheek (kinda) the fact i referanced video games and mentioned it was my only gun was to let yall know how non expert i am. its a shame i gotta point this out. i guess i didnt "play the part" well enough cos some people are confused as to my intentions. without patronising you i was relaxed and comedically talking about MY mosin from a non right wing/stick up the arse/gun snob, gun owners perspective. maybe i should right this in the description.

  • @zzohmzz No one is a right wing, stick stuck anywhere, gun snob... Comedy is fine, but I for one would not list playing video games as your credentials or only experience.

Nice choice for a first gun too... I own 2, one is original, the other I sporterized similar to yours, and I plan on getting a 3rd and cutting it down to a long pistol.

  • nice stock man it looks great!

  • the scope is a long fucking way down the barell

  • @eriamjh7 It's called long eye relief. It's a lot more comfortable than keeping one eye closed for a long time.

  • Wow he plays video games so he knows everything on guns.

  • @MrMusiccritic101 yeah , he is quite a moron ...

  • if you cut down the barrel length to 22 inches you could probably improve the accuracy

  • This guy is fucking awesome

  • Lol gang banging midgets. You're so funny.

  • That gun is so bubba'fied it not even funny......

Hey Bubba, you gots sum duck tape cause my gun rattles a whole bunch....

  • @jpetersen92020 use chewing gum and sand. it works a lot better than duct tape. trust me XD

  • if you mount a scope, isn't harder to load the rounds? must curious, im thinking of buying one.

  • @blaziankhmer if you mount it with a scout mount or on a 91/30 take off the rear sight completely, u can still use 5 round stripper clips but if you use a mount that has the scope above the bolt or chamber are you will probably have to load them 1 at a time. no big deal though, it only holds 5 rounds.

  • I'd like to go shooting with you.

  • @FourNamed yeah man, i have a laugh. currently saving up my milk jugs n soda bottles :)

  • I love this guy! If you haven't tried already, buy some brown bear 203gr SP ammunition and shoot feed that to your nagant. I won't tell you my statistics with it because you don't seem to want to hear it (I don't blame you), but it was literally night and day difference between the brown bear and all other ammunition (surplus and otherwise). Though the reticule in your scope will probably break if you shoot the 203gr. It's throws quite a punch.

  • lmfao, "I get a 1/4MOA at 500,000 miles!" yeah i agree, 2.5in is good to start with

  • If you want to increase your accuracy it might cost a little more than you want to spend, but try haveing a gunsmith cut the barrel down to 24" or 22" and recrown the barrel. Its easy to do your self but the tools to recrown the barrel are fuckin pricey.

  • @SpecopsSSB honestly my nagant did really well with the brown bear 180 grain, groupings about half the size im getting now, trouble is i got a case (880 rounds) of on sale 147 grain (140 bucks shipped) and im a cheap skate. ill bet the 200 grain would improve groups also. next time i go ill buy a couple boxes of match ammo, it should shrink the groups to probably 1.5" @100yards. i cut a hole in the target at 50 yards with 20 rounds last time. the guy next to me had a garand and was impressed

  • ahhhhhhahahha this guy is entertaining.....I bet he is a blast to get drunk with....MINUS the guns

  • check your scopes specs. If its not paralax free, get one that is with a long eye relief, because it can make the difference between 2.5 moa, and .75 moa. ;)

  • 5.5" adjustable long eye. when i was sighting it in at 30 yards (just to get it on target for the range i go to), i was nailing carpenter bees with it that kept landing on the target lol. i love this rifle and won't substitute it with anything else

  • @CmdrALF thats whats up :)

  • dood you're fuckin awesome! my dad and i bought a 1942 izzy mn 91/30 a few years ago at a fun show for $119 with a shitty stock, but awesome reciver/bore/action. dropped it into a ati monte carlo, opted for the drill and tap scope mount at a smith (i didn't like the scout mount), had the bolt handle cut and welded by a guy named boltman (he did aewsome), i sanded the stock to the tip of the chamber, polished the trigger to get the grittiness out, got a tru-glo 3-9x40 rifle scope with a

  • does anyone know a cheap scope for 50-90 bucks that i can hit a target from 850 yards away?

  • @basilone200 gotta have a pretty good arm to chuck one that far mate. i"d hit the gym.

  • well you first have to run to the target to hit it with the cheap scope you want to buy.

  • ha ha ha abooot!

  • nice vid man, u taken the front sight off yet?

  • @victorbomba not very good. i decided to put it back in the wood stock cos it was all sloppy and my groups really opened up. i attempted to glass bed the stock and ended up gluing ym magazine well into the stock. i wouldnt care so much but the rifle was still floppy after that. w/e. im sure i prolly fuxxed somthing up

  • how much did you have to trim the inside till you could get the rounds to go in

  • @brutal04rsx a lot dude. although i hear its not the same for everyone i ended up using a 4 inch grinder to cut the necessary notch.

  • @brutal04rsx a lot. i think i got a bad stock.

  • yall just wait. im glass bedding the action this weekend then its off for painting. i shall be showing off the final product soon, either that or im on a one way trip to my fisrt wall hanger!

  • @zzohmzz how can you use the scope like that

  • @Paintdizzle17

its easy, its a pistol/scout scope so there is a lot of eye relief, it gives me ability to aquire targets quickly and i can keep both eyes open if i want to.

  • @zzohmzz WALL HANGER L0OL

  • Good video, dude, I just got a M-G today at a gun show and hopefully I'll be able put a few rounds through tomorrow on the family farm. I'll see how fires stock before start modding it out. I really would like to put a scope on it if nothing else.

BTW, with shipping charges and the FFL transfer fee you really wouldn't have saved any money buying this gun online.

  • Where are you from? You seem to either be putting on a fake accent or you're from Australia or New Zeland... Not so much the UK or South Africa.

  • @1994WN england originally

  • @zzohmzz

You live in the south dont you?

  • @1994WN FLAWDA

  • nice man, i had to sand mine for about 2 minutes and it fit nice, makes a great gun!

  • I love this video. no bs.

  • @TreeRatLegacy thanx m8 :)

  • the scope mount looks kinda odd, if i were you i would get the Rock Solid mount, they have a bent bolt too....awesome rifle

  • the scope mount looks kinda odd, if i were you i would get the Rosk Solid mount, they have a bent bolt too....awesome rifle

  • but dont worry kvon. unlike you and yours during the HUGHES AMMENDMENT, and PATRIOT act, i care about the constitution. and ill be there to defend it with my blood sweat and tears. and i mean this so i hope you can read this with an open mind.

i love my rifle. its my HOBBY. it enjoys TOY STATUS right now. it will likly never shoot another human. i wasnt away that my jovial personality was to be contrewed as irresponcible... CHILLAX FAMMO.

  • KVON. noone will point to this vid. and if they do. i dont care. as a resident of america i am doing what your forefathers set out to do. which is to live my life the way i want to without fear of bullshit. here you are trying to fearmonger and its funny. your republican beliefs and mindsets that you and your brotherhood share are actually creating the police state that your forefathers tried so hard to legislate against.

  • shoots ok/ i made another vid. i have some more work to do i think. i'll prolly fiberglass and piller bed it. when i have time. with teh scope i was nailing a 10" metal plate at 200 yards as fast as i could reload. im going to try 500 yards when ive gotten used to teh scope.

  • I have a sense of humor. Firearms are not toys, or anything to have a sense of humor about. The anti-gunners point to videos like this when they attempt to take our 2nd amendment rights. You all had better open your eyes soon or when you do we will be living in the "Peoples Republic of the United States" comrade.

  • @kvonbusse So let me get this straight. What you're saying is, we need to get rid of the first amendment in order to keep the second. Is that about it? He's having a little fun while giving his two cents about this gun and the mods he made. So why don't you go back to protecting the mall. I'm sure theres a little kid about to get ass virginity taken. Mr. Gecko45.

  • You should just stick to Doom.

  • "I play Doom, Quake and Call of Duty so I know my shit" well there tough guy you are all ready for the Special Forces.....you should sign up! Seriously though please dont have kids so the stupid gene doesnt get passed on.

  • @kvonbusse

wow, really. its funny that your calling me the stupid one when you obviously do not understand sarcasm. oh the irony... (do i need to explain what irony is?)

  • @zzohmzz No, but you do need to explain what idiot gave you a gun.

  • @zzohmzz Why does everyone I meet not know the meaning of irony :'(

  • @kvonbusse A sense of humor: find one.

  • You are hilarious, great video, great gun

  • Gave me a good laugh... loved the video.

  • It looks a lot better since i changed the scope rings and took out those god awefull silver blocks., mr cageicker im a limey and yes i had a beer before filming lol., izzy. i have seen great mosin rifles, mine was meerly ok. please believe that at any point i can return this rifle to its original condition in about 10 minutes. i will however be keeping my eyes peeled for a mint condition mosin to keep as original.

  • get a pu scope, it'll be alittle less ugly

  • is this guy drunk? or irish? both?

  • AWESOME BRO!!!

  • you ruined a great rifle

  • @Izzy1943sniper

    nothing i did is permanant

  • @Izzy1943sniper

How did he ruin it? It is now lighter, more accurate, and essentially, better. The Mosin Nagant itself, in comparison to other rifles of its time, not that great.

  • @AGeekWithAShotgun Putting a new stock and scope on won't make it more accurate at all. The heavier wooden stock will dampen the recoil more than that lightweight stock, and if you put a rubber pad on like that stock has on the wooden one, it'd be even less. The mosin snipers were just as good accuracy wise as any sniper of the time. The two snipers with the highest recorded kills of all time used mosins. He didn't ruin it, but it was probably better the way it was.

  • @Chad11491

You realize the barrel is now free-floating? And Mosin's don't kick that much with a Monte-Carlo stock on; you just gotta get use to it.

The Soviets made these by the millions; and other countries made them by the millions as well. No reason to fret over a surplus rifle. If it was a Finnish Mosin, Lee enfield, 1903 or MAS, I'd be pissed.

  • you make me laugh my ass off buddy. i got the same gun, love it!!!

  • OMG... newbie and you can tell!... GET YOUR FINGER OUT OF THE TRIGGER GUARD!!! Yeah, I know "but it's not loaded" Many people have said that many times, right before blowing a hole through someone or something they didn't want a hole in....

  • @Turbo2Pete

    yeah. im workin on it.

  • Go to pyramydair . com and look up "Leapers Accushot 1-Pc Mount w/1" Rings, 3/8" Dovetail". That mount is exactly what you need for your rifle. Mine has held zero for many rounds.

  • LOL...you r hilarious...I just got my ATI stock and I fit in nice and snug. Now do I have to do some sanding down to get the free floating barrel? I mean is it necessary or I can leave the way it is.

It’s my first rifle and now with the new ATI stock I love it. I will get the scope latter on, but I will do it same like you did but not sure what scope mounting kit I need to get. Can you let me know what size rings to get or mounting kit? Thanks.

  • Fuck yeah dude, fuck yeah.

  • i say 300~400 cos i baught 900 rounds of ammo for 170 bucks

  • @zzohmzz This is why I like my .22. 2100 rds for $85

  • @zzohmzz now your gun will corrode because of terrible russian surplus ammo...sadness
