  • best Brian's Song

  • Ok 0:55 to 1:20 really turned me on, I can really see why Freddie appealed to both men & women, I am a straight woman but damn he could be very hot onstage acting like that!

  • MMM GREAT!!!! (L) I LOVE THIS PERFORM!!

  • Looked at my top 25 most played songs in iTunes and all 25 are courtesy of Queen. Rock on.

  • holy fuck yes

  • @misledprops Holy fuck yes INDEED!! That was fucking HOT!!

  • One of if not the greatest bands of all time. Led by in my opinion the greatest frontman to ever grace the stage. R.I.P. Freddie

  • 2:17 that guy look good

    no homo

  • @Airbornerock

    fucking homo

  • @kaneangel2012 If you are prejudiced against homosexuals, why are you watching a clip of a gay man singing - sounds like you have unresolved issues yourself ;-)

  • @kaneangel2012 And ur a fucking asshole, perfect match!!

  • He made an asshole out of every other singer!!!

  • did he say ac or dc? ac/dc? WHHHAATT?

  • @greendaybitch0 when?

  • An ANTHEM!

  • If you look up the phrase "Front Man" in the dictionary, you find a picture of Freddie Mercury. Damn.

  • Freddie Mercury was bi, THERE !!!! Now can we stop talking about his sexuallity and listen to the song

  • @TheDiAFilms Actually, he was married before he discovered he was in fact out and out gay. Buy yes, I agree - lets stop talking about his life, and just listen to one of the greatest vocalists of all time :)

  • Happy birthday Freddie - We miss you so much!

  • Happy birthday, Freddie!

  • I loooooooveeee freeeddieeee queeen is just awesome

  • i have 12 years old and i love this music, i see this video every day ten thousend times and my brothers always says why you see that video every day? its because its my fucking favorite band i dont really care is freddie mercury its gay or not!!!! this is real music!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Pepelinojosefo If you didn't listen to queen because of Mercury's homosexuality then you would be missing out on something great. Such prejudices will lead to a dull life. Seek to have your preconceptions challenged.

  • @MyGrassIsGreenest In my opinion, some of the best artists, or at least most well-known, have been of the homosexual persuasion; Elton John George Michael are but another two of my favourites - and I am a straight guy saying this :)

Rock the world, no matter what sexuality you are :-]

  • freddys made me late for work again

  • unstoppable

  • Great song. "Ain't that a WONDERFUL pink!" :D

  • So gay, but so good

  • I love you so very much Freddie! I really do love you!

  • The legend of perfomance!

  • I have one word to scream:

    QUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN!

  • Red Special is one of the coolest guitars known to man.

  • Now THIS is great music...when the band can perform better live than in the studio. Not much of that going around anymore. Music is nothing without special effects, makeup, and hype nowadays. Modern music doesn't seem to require musicians anymore.

  • @jtomasik Don't agree with you at all, modern music is still as great as the older stuff. Maybe not the mainstream stuff here in North America, the stuff coming from Sweden, Finland, Norway and the like is fantastic. Look up Kamelot, to get you started. Operatic vocals and kick ass music. The Haunting (live) is a good place to start.

  • @ntvr2 You're right, but the good stuff is ignored. To paraphrase Robert Frost (I think), it takes great audiences to make great musicians. The best stuff today is ignored by the masses (unlike 20 to 30 years ago), who prefer to listen to trivial drivel by Justin Bieber, etc.

  • When I tell young kids I saw Queen live in the 80's they look at me as if I had seen some kind of god. After listening what's on the top 40 of 2011 I'm starting to believe that too.

  • WOW¡¡¡ in two words SPEC-TACULAR

  • nobody rocked it like you Freddie XOXOXO

  • Freddie, your "OOOOOOOOoooooOOOO's" had more power than the entire 21st century music business. God Bless you for all eternity.

  • Absolutely amazing! Freddie, the world is a sadder place without you.

  • Goddamned Red Special sounds incredible! Freddie incredible! Brian incredible! Roger incredible! John Incredible! The live singing is top notch, even the harmonics.

  • The 8 people that did not like this, must of hit the wrong button, who could not like this? OZZY...........

  • Such energy and passion in his performance,AMAZING!

  • Where have you gone, Freddy Mercury? Rock needs you more than ever....

  • Oh, Freddy! :)

  • I don't want paul rogers.. i want freddie mercury!! :(

  • Thanks Gaia for giving us Freddie!!!

  • NEVER GETS OLD!!!

  • QUEEN ! what the good lord blessed us with .

what the good lord has taken...remains with us.

QUEEN ! FOREVER HERE AND HERE AFTER, FOREVER.

    out.

  • wen he sings..."take me to them dirty ladies everytime"...man that gives me shivers...so clear so crisp so perfect

    Freddie is God!

  • amazingg

  • Great opening harmonies!

and WTF??? Backup singer is annoying??? Backup singer!!!!!! Bloody hell!

  • that backup singer is annoying

  • @BloodScorchedSun Lol! Couldn't laugh harder at you.

This is what we call a musically mutilated fucking asshole everybody! Shit... I get madder and madder each time. I would think the effect would wear off over time...

  • @Typhoon792 wait what?

  • @BloodScorchedSun You called the backup singer annoying. I'm not defending the person in my response more than I am in general the musical integrity really... Only someone who has no understanding could've said something like that. I KNOW what you're hearing to make you say that, trust me I do. It's stupid, that's all.

  • I love how the the studio version is so different from this version, but it's still freddie and it's still queen, and it's still awesome.

  • queen is amazing. whether its live or recorded, performance or sound. freddie is immortal and he is the best of the business. showman and insane skill.

  • Trust Freddie to totally own that stage, even when he's not singing. No one compares.

  • i love how queen and all the other good band form the 70 80 and and early 90s are better live than they are in the recorded versions unlike today

  • "You made an asshole out of me"

  • Possibly the best Performer Ever!

  • saw them at the long beach area that same tour

  • ~_~. I wish i was there for that. to bad i was born 13 years later.

and now with gay ass justin beiber and shit. we ain't got no real music.

  • @lchigoe Dude ur a 95' too. Same here. In my town no one knows Queen. I probably no more about queen than my whole town put together. Now my school..which is more diverse it different.

  • Freddy had the best stage presence...so lovely. Wonderful voice to boot. R.I.P

  • Apparently Brian broke several strings on his Red Special during this concert.

  • "You made a asshole outta me" I love that!!!

    Queen 4ever

  • @juint2013 an asshole

  • i thought freddie was bisexual.

  • @realmadridhfg he was - the go go's loved him and if you dont know who they were they are like the day's pussycat dolls. so freddie definately got around

  • Freddie Mercury didn't die of AIDS. Pure epic Power simply Devoured his body.

  • When they sing the chorus, is it both Brian and Roger who had high voices, or is it just Roger?

  • @athull08 Brian : low harmony, Freddie : lead vocal, Roger : high harmony.

  • @Canaveral305 Thanks, I thought it was that way round. But then I read someone claiming that Roger and Brian both had high, shallow voices, which I thought wasn't right. That's why I asked.

  • @athull08 Well, their voices are easy to spot : Roger's very raspy, and Brian's very mellow. Roger could sing very high (he's the high voices of Bohemian Rhapsody) and Brian can sing very low (he's the low voices on that same song). Most of the time, though (in studio), the 3 of them (with freddie) sang all of the parts of the harmony, to make it sound bigger. Maybe that's what that guy meant.

  • @Canaveral305 Yes, maybe. There were obviously differences in the vocal arrangement between this song's studio and live versions. I don't think Roger sings at all in the studio version.

  • Great performance but why the fuck Freddie rapes the scaffolding?

  • @zammarcin Freddy Mercury was incapable of rape. Everyone and everything on the planet preemptively gave consent.

  • Brian May...you just rule. There is just no other way around it. I spent part of last night learning to play that filthy, snarling, blistering, growling blues riff in the beginning. Probably one of the greatest guitar riffs ever written in dropped D. Crank that JCM super lead up to 7, rip the gain knob off at 10, and tell your neighbors to fuck off! That riff just rumbles along like a freight train. Awesome.

  • "You made an asshole out of me" rofl.

  • That guitar playing and stomp is fucking amazing, jeez.

  • I'm sorry but the original band is irreplaceable, Paul Rodgers is a great singer but Freddie alone was like 70% of Queen, so the band ended for me the day he died...

  • lol, I've just noticed he sang pleasure and treasure the wrong way round.

    ah, who cares.

Knowing Freddie, it might even have been deliberate.

  • Wow

  • AMAZING!!

  • Is that the original Red Special or a replica? Because I know this song is played in different tuning.

  • love the song and love fat bottomed girls :)

  • I owe ya one for this Brian May... I love those voluptuos ladies!!!

  • LOVE this song and very good video!! Thanks for upload

  • this tune should be on every "top 100 rock song" list known to man

  • @jashickey AMEN!!!!!!

  • Always in my heart

  • RIP Freddie One Of The BEST

  • F for Fucking awesome!

  • stupenda cazzo

  • I swear I'd be willing to sell my soul just to see real bad-ass rock like this make a resurgence.

  • I love that band.

  • they are awsome at live shows

  • Incomparable

  • the best live rock band ever.....ever!!!!!

  • Oh, I love the live performances of "Love of My Life!" It was something truly special, indeed. What a lovely, tender song and the way that the audience connected to it and sang along was so sweet. There are just certain musicians and certain songs that are universally loved.

  • For sure! From all of the footage that I have seen, (concerts and interviews), Freddie was really fun with a great sense of humor. I can only imagine what a blast it must have been to be a part of the audience at a Queen concert. They really seemed to connect with their audience and entertain the hell out of everyone! I can't really think of any current musicians that have that special something that Freddie had.

  • Am I the only one that notices that he says, "You made an asshole outta me" on this live performance? I fucking love Freddie Mercury! Brian May totally kicks ass for writing such a epic song!

  • That had to have been a tough intro live...they stick it here!!!

  • What a (show)Man

  • If I had only been about 10 years older...and a dude...

Watching Freddie - what would he and Steven Tyler have done without their microphone stands to play with? Mic stands...the rocker version of the stripper pole!

I AM A HOT, FAT-BOTTOMED GIRL - THANK YOU, FREDDIE!

  • Was john deacon not singin at the very start for the voice harmonies

  • One of the greatest, if not the best (apart from bohemian) Queen song!

  • This song is BADASS!!!!!!

  • im sorry miley cyrus, but only freddie mercury can pole dance ;-)

  • She'll only be pole dancing in a few years.

  • @southparkfan2717 she already has! she was doing a little at the kids choice awards or something haha

  • I mean she'll be doing it in a strip club in a few years.

  • @southparkfan2717 who are you talking about? miley cyrus? lolz.

  • ... in that wonderful pink:))))

  • cowboy rock style !!!

  • FBG = the perfect rock and roll song

  • freddie and mates sooooooo baaaaad

  • someone should make a movie about how awesome queen was and ben stiller should play freddy mercury

  • @wgcgolf hello there!:) From what I know, they are on the works of making a queen/Freddie biopic and Sacha Baron Cohen would be playing Freddie.

  • "You made an asshole out of me"

  • this is def my fav queen song. i guess i like the style of brian may better than ol Merc. Brian May wrote this song.

  • Brian may wrote most of the good queen songs, and dis is also my fav queen song!

  • Noone will ever right music this well ever again,And noone is this good live anymore.

  • hey! i command the DVD for Xmas!!

    :D

  • i didnt even live through the time Queen was together and i love the music and freddies voice!!!!

  • A true visionary

  • Helped set up some of the buildings for that show in a mudbath, we were handed front row tickets for our efforts.

Best concert I ever saw. Queen rules

  • rock and roll at its best, rip freddie

  • this song RULES!!

  • fred loved his fat women,,,fred loved his life....18 years to the day and we LOVE YOU FREDDIE!!!! no one is fit enough to lick his boots

  • >fred loved his fat women

Actually it was Queen guitarist Brian May who wrote this, and (presumably) loved the fat-bottomed girls. Freddie likes the guys ;)

  • @whereangelsplay1 im better

  • @whereangelsplay1 I believe the song was written by Brian May, wasn't it? And, I also believe Freddie didn't like women. Not saying this to be controversial or degrading...just to clarify the truth.

  • @jtomasik

he loved women his best friend was a woman, but sexually no

  • @internalpeaceseeker I think he liked woman sexually too. He was bissexual

  • @whereangelsplay1 - actually this song was written by Brian May (guitarist) so perhaps it's more accurate to say that he loved his fat bottomed girls. ;-) (loved your comments about Freddie though)

  • @whereangelsplay1 big girls are better though

  • Say what you will Freddie could sing !! And the band was second to none. I guess the light that burns twice as bright burns half as long. I miss the music. His choice effected his band and all of us. We all should learn from his down fall. What a great rocker.

  • feliz aniversario freddie :(:(

  • 1:28 "HEY!" just in case you weren't awake already, get the fuck up, one of the best hard rock songs ever made is taking place before your very eyes

  • 3:33 Um...there goes my mind. Freddie is/was something else it seems. Work that pole.

  • Everytime I hear this, is it's so incredible!! Thanks for posting it.

  • he was just totally up the power or the powder but the best this song can't be played by no one else !!! great great band great song Freddy is just fabulous thnks to share !

  • John is just gorgeous here!

  • Like him or not Freddie was one of if not the best frontman ever!

  • Undoubtedly. He puts anyone of the present day to shame.

    RIP Farrokh Bulsara

  • @ironmike2004 how could anyone not like him?!?!

  • Only homophobic and racist bigots with nothing better to do with their lives could fail to like him - the type of people who should just get lost. You're so right. Anyone with a brain cell would love him.

  • so many great songs. This was one of the best!

  • Freddie Mercury, the best rock performer of all time? Me thinks so!!!

  • Makes me run up there and grab Freddie..

    LOL

  • i just love it!! makes me wanna jump up n down with the beat!

  • pure rock and roll viva la freddie

  • Man.... Those opening chords are a sound from a bygone age.

In a thousand years, if there is only one thing left to explain the late 20th century, I hope this is what they dig up.

  • AGREED. The only exception to that was Don't Stop Me Now, which was very hard to do live.

  • there will never be a group that can match Queen vocally.
