I've noticed that there is not many pilots with Apache AH-64 helicopters that are flying aggressively with speed maneuvering, banking or rolls. I have yet to see high altitude flights either. Specs say they have 2500' range, are there flight restrictions governing their flight levels? I have a colco Apache AH-64 arriving this week w/ a wireless video cam . I plan on pushing the envelop of their capabilities. Videos to follow, so take your motion sickness pills and hang on to your seats.
3 question note:please reply 1 is it easy to break .2 is it easy to controll for a beginer. 3 if you get it new how do you make it lift up like do you move the up function on the transmiter
quite easy for a beginner. I think it does not worth it to go to a 2ch-model. Not for indoor flights. Not so easy to brake. Requires attention though. To just lift it up you just have to move the throttle on your rc controller up.
1. yes, the blades are really easy to break. I got mine and in the first try they broke up :-(. but you can get spare parts and I´ve seen also a training kit so you won´t break your blades.
2. not that easy for a beginner. at least not for me. but you can try :-).
I know.... But from the plastic and all the coverings.....what bothers me most is the propeller on top! Apache has only one! Nevermind, I know it's a toy... How much does it cost??? $390??? I bought a 4 channel remote controller for simulation...on computer. only $69.90!!! Do know how to fly a real one thousand buck helicopter??? Reply ya??!
it's better to fly on in the summer, or where there's alot of houses around, like a mobile home estate, those play the wind get block by house so it won't blow off
It will Fly 50 metres high , but i wouldnt recommend taking it that high as it gets harder to keep control in heavy wind .. remember they are intended for indoor use .. no the back rotor does not move

let make this simple
This video = A toy
what you say = Almost an Aircraft
this video = don't need license to fly
what you say = need like 10 acre to fly

the apache 9088 rc which i have it has forward and backwards movement on the controller i had at 1 stop for £50
djcz07 4 years ago
you cant control it forward or backwards onl if you use the wind, wich is VERY hard. (for me)
0oDenniso0 4 years ago
it seems like it's very hard to control. is it? most of the time the chopper is flying backwards hmmmm
