  • Dayum thats some good mofo'n shit right there man

  • you are there, do not stop \ m /

  • practice (NRSNDNRGGRNRMMGMGRS) every note should be played for at least 1 and 1/2 second

  • How good are you now?

  • @pp7 Better...most days, lol! Work and school consume my time and I don't practice nearly as much as I should. I have recently tried to audio record my flute and am trying to find the best mic and mic position etc. Audio engineering is not playing music, ha! But it has shown I need to work harder on breath control and embouchure.

  • Muy bueno! fuerza macho! a mejorar ahora! un abrazo!

  • Gracias, Frinvi! Todavia aprendiendo.

  • @BlueAnam hey boddie where could I find one? Donde puedo comprar una como esa?

    Thanks

  • @TheMusicbrass I bought mine from one-world-trading. Comprado mio de one-world-trading.

  • I am a big fan of indian classical music and seeing that you are too I was wondering who your favorite flautists are? I only have material from Hariprasad and he is fantastic, but I was thinking about getting more material from another artist of different style that is also very good.

Btw - I was looking to buy a bansuri also and am very confused about all the different types - I was wondering if you have any advice?

  • I only have Hariprasad as well. But I'm interested in buying some John Wubbenhorst. Google him, stupid youtube is quashing my link to his site.

Bought my flute from One World Trading. Guy there was helpful, answered pre-purchase queries via email. In hindsight, I might have bought a higher register as learning embouchure on a bass has been tough. Whatever you get, I recommend buying ergonomic as the fingering will be easier.

    Thanks for watching,

    Peace

  • Thankyou very much for all the helpful information

  • Not bad. Keep practicing. What key is your bansuri in?

  • It's C. I probably should have started with a higher octave, but I absolutely love the deep tone.

  • OK... I do plan on updating this. I've been practicing and feel more comfortable. Don't know any real ragas yet, but have been working on better, cleaner notes. Looking to post sometime this week. Also would appreciate any web resources to help me learn better technique.

    Thanks for watching :-)
