I would definitely get a helmet cam before trying the left turn onto Waterfall, as it's even trickier than where you actually went. Enjoyable video, though.

Its one of those shitty appalachian mountain resorts where it takes 30 seconds to speed down the hill and 10 minutes to go back up, i would kill myself of boredom and annoyance.

Its equally annoying when someone feels the need to pause the video every 5 seconds to give a thoroughly detailed walkthrough no one gives a shit about. God forbid someone dares to think lesser of you, so you have to spend 5 minutes on why they are wrong.

Tip of advice, don't pay for skiing lessons. It's soooo not worth it. I learned how to ski in a couple of minutes on my own. Just watch what others do to stop and turn and try to copy that. my 2nd day skiing I was also doing black dimonds, day after that, my uncle lend me down double black and it wasn't too bad...of course, intermidiate courses are boring to me now~ xD I think i'll give snowboarding a shot. turning seems like you need some balance...but I can manage...=]

One suggestion: Get one of those pen cams... you can usually get a high enough quality one for around 50 bucks. Drill a hole in whatever helmet you want, fill it with foam glue, or any sort of glue that will fill any empty space, and just slide the pen cam in... Of course, you should make an extra hole for the cord to come out of, and just strap the actual recording/power unit to like your waist... then both hands are free...

got back from my trip at Lake Tahoe. You were right, skiing is pretty easy to pick up. I was going down blacks by day 2 and having a blast. I can't wait to go again. Sliding down head first 50 ft down an icy black run was also fun as it doesn't hurt at all when falling on skis compared to a snowboard.
