EXPERT VILLAGE WHY ARE U SO BAD, YET HAVE SO MANY VIEWS. Samba is much faster, cleaner, and is typically played with a clave pattern nothing like u just played on the snare.

@love2punk He's not playing triplets in fact but the 1st 3rd et 4th 16th note of ech beat like:

1 . & a 2 . 1 a 3 . & e 4 . & e

Basically, lots of latin rythm weren't made to be played on drums but on different instruments (tambourine, sourdo, quica, agogo, shakere, caja etc) that's how occentals drummer use to 'translate' it.

So it's common to play the same kick-hat ostinato in bossa nova, samba, mambo and lot of latin rythms 'transcrption for drums' and it's just the hand playing who changes.
