I wish I could find his very first album....he was standing sideways & holding his sax. It was in the 70's sometime. It's not available anywhere that I can find! I loved it!
I saw the serious moonlight tour , and yes it was great , but for me(station to station concert) in black and white in 1976 was someting amazing , imagine a complete live concert without any color light .... only Bowie can create things like that...WOW !!!
I saw him on this tour many, many "Serious Moonlights" ago. He had a great band on this tour...One of my all time favorite concerts I have been to in my lifetime!
& I applaude Bowie for making this Song,& It Climbing the Charts-70's &80's Genre-Here we
Have Great Rock, Dance music. Lyrics that made millions of Transgendered Great Folks be Intantly Guarded, by this song to Come out of that Closet and Be who they are! Thanks David Bowie-Your Spirit Shines Forever, Love Donny
I thought the Glass Spider tour was his best. After that he said that he wouldn't be doing the original songs. .although he still does some. This is not his strongest version of Rebel Rebel. The way he performed it recently with a much tighter band is by far better. Bowie on his worst day is superior to most bands on their best. He's the man.
Actually, I think Never Let Me Down was at least as good as Let's Dance and Tonight I'd probably put on par. However, his Let's Dance TOUR was one of his best EVER!
Unfortunately, after this album were his 2 worst albums. Tonight and Never let me Down. I did like Blue Jean and Time Will crawl though. Loving the Alien I could care less about. Also liked Absolute begginers. But most of the other stuff goes from below par to just bad. You know he actually apologized for making those albums. Hey, who doesn't make mistakes. I mean, he did more then make up for it with Miracle Goodnight.
I saw David and his Serious Moonlight tour twice (Glass Spider concert once), and he was so absolutely awesome. Definitely at his best during this period.
the thin white duke. this son of bitch is awesome...simply awesome. and a bit underrated for some reason. you don't hear much about him because everyone's always jacking off about The Beatles and Zeppelin (i.e., the song stealers). But Bowie is one of the top 10 best performers/artists of all time. period.

Wow. You have absolutely no idea what you're talking about.
And what the hell does him being 'queer' have to do with the song? His orientation doesn't affect the meaning of the song whatsoever.
