  • who was it in that interview, i keep hearing different things... it wasn't conor ? it sure sounds like hime

  • @lynch03

It was Todd Fink from The Faint.. it wasn't meant to be taken seriously. It says its Fink on the Wikipedia page for Fevers and most lyric pages. It does sound like Conor at first listen, but if you listen to it closely you can just tell it isn't his voice. I don't know exactly where you can find the solid proof of it, but I'm sure it isn't Conor. If you turn the sound way up on your speakers during the interview, towards the end you can hear the real Conor saying shit in the background

  • WOW! i just got one of those little guitars, and i wondered if anyone else used them. I never knew conor used one. I feel like it was a great investment now haha.

  • This is possibly one of my favorite Bright Eyes songs. A part of me hated how short it is, at first but at the same time it means so much and is so powerful despite being short. Very few songs have the power of this one, with just the emotions and lyrics and everything. <3

Also I love the lyric change as well and that he does that live and can pull it off without it taking away from the original, if anything its even more special.

    Conor is a genius...such a beautiful mind.

  • i love listening to this guy but i sometimes dont get the meanings can someone give me an idea cuz he just blows me away

  • @fuckme1nce The way I personally see it, there is no definite meaning. I'm sure maybe when he was writing it, it was specific to something in his life but now its basically yours. What I'm trying to say is that music is open for interpretation, so in my opinion the meaning is whatever it means to you. And theres no right or wrong or definite answer. =) Thats whats so amazing about music and art in general. Sorry if I'm no help at all haha

  • @xoFrankenstein that was what i was thinking most of his songs were like, self interpretation but thank you and it did help :)

  • @fuckme1nce You're very welcome! (:

  • This is probably hands down, one of my top three favorite videos on youtube. God Bless you.

  • such good quality video/sound!

  • in the dark we're just air, so our bodies might dissolve

but once they're gone i wouldn't care, that was never us at all

i LOVE the change of lyrics. this is so true and just beautiful.

  • Nice quality for a hand held concert grab. Thanks.

  • this is my favorite song the lyrics are so beautiful

  • my favourite song ever... not just by conor, just in general.. i think im the only one who can say they have a favourite song.

  • jueputaa, que chimba de canción.

  • beautiful

  • do you wanna dance?

  • he just became happy.

  • i wish i could just meet someone with the brilliance of conor oberst.

  • open your mind. maybe you're crazy. not the worst thing to be.

  • dude is canor crazy becouse he sounds crazy on the interview of this song on the cd

plz tell me i dont know?

  • Hahahah no, it's not even him.

    It was a joke.

It was his friend Todd Fink.

  • that interview is hilarious.

  • "It's like walking out of a door and finding out it's a window"

    HAHAHAHAHA

  • "Do you ever hear things that arent really there?"

    "I'm sorry, what?"

"Never mind. How long have you worked at this station?"

    "Oh, just a few minutes."

  • @particleman01 no... it was tim kasher from curcive...

  • @particleman01 no it wasn't... it was tim kasher from cursive

  • @YoseMiteEmery Actually, I'm pretty sure it's Todd Fink. it even say's it's Todd Fink on the wikipedia page for Fevers and Mirrors. It doesn't even sound like Tim Kasher

  • @particleman01 nicnice... i always thought it was tim haha... i saw the wiki... thanks!

  • @YoseMiteEmery no you're mistaken, it really is todd fink of the faint!

  • @mils0r yea and within the 10 months i posted this... i found out haha.. but yes.. thanks :p

  • If Conor is crazy, then the last thing I want to be is sane.

  • @ATDIadherent well said my friend

  • one of his best songs for sure

  • omg that was on my birthday =D

  • Gosh darnit, I love this performance.

  • Conor's really fluent when he sings this song

My english teacher would love him, haha

  • Excellent quality dude. What type of camera did you use?

  • Sony digital camera. It was only like $500

  • @particleman01

Sony ftw, muh friend has one, and it takes epic pictures

  • best bright eyes song

  • This was an awesome concert

  • same

  • i wish i couldve been there

  • I was at that concert, it was amazing

  • i love bright eyes, this is such an amazing song

  • i love this song, and conor is amazing.

this is also a really good quality video.

  • it's awesome...

  • Ok I think I've watched this three times in a row now

  • me too! ahhah i watch it like everyday, i love it so much that i decided to cover it.

Please watch my cover and tell me how bad it is :P

  • dont comment on him being drunk and such, because, if that's what makes him happy, he's not hurting anyone (except mabye himself.) So let him live the rest of his life and write his amazing music.

  • um i think its better he drinks before every show, he puts more emotion

a better show i might say

  • yeah choobooo. go listen to your top 40-studio-doctored-up lip-syncing-soon-to-be-american idol-flavor-of-the-month-garbage. maybe youd like conors songs better if clay aiken were singing them. they could put fran drescher in a recording studio and make her sound like lucianno pavarotti. this is real music. i think the mtv youtube videos youre looking for are that way---->

  • He sings fine.

  • please don't leave comments putting down conor and/or bright eyes. it will just piss off all of the real fans who watch my videos. thanks!

  • soo false

  • Comment removed

  • i'm not hating... someone asked if the interview on the cd was real. and i said so false. so, i'm hating how?

  • @pilarxwagnr - you're not hating....it is supposed to be ironic and a satire towards the media.

  • i read an interview where he said he wished he had the kind of charisma on stage that Michael Stipe has, doesn't think he does.

never saw Michael Stipe live, but i haven't seen too many performers with the presence and charisma of this guy. people who can effect a crowd like he can amaze me. what a talent.

  • this show was so powerful - no way to capture it fully on video, as good as this is.

as a new fan, i'd never have thought of that as a drunken performance - it was so sharp and strong and beautiful. also seemed organized and professional. i was stunned and transported.

  • awesome. i love this song!

  • Cant wait to c him live... thanks for the video...

  • that was such a beautiful show. first row, right section... actually, he didnt seem that drunk at all compared to the other two Bright Eyes shows i've seen.

    such an incredible show.

  • yeah, i was in 2nd ro in the center, it was FUCKING NUTS. he was so drunk. and i got that alcohol-covered setlist after the show! he wrote on it too

  • oh, i saw you get that too! i got those grapes he dipped into the crowd... i framed the vine with my ticket.

  • wow amazin

  • i had 3rd row

  • where were your seats?

  • I was there too. 4th row. Awesome concert!

  • sick show love this song i was right there

  • oh man,

    that show was flawless

and I fucking love this song.
