I own a Marcum OVS 350. It retails for about $200 at Cabelas or any other sporting goods store. I make recordings with a hand held DVR I purchased for $85 from a dealer on ebay. The brand name of the DVR is SVP. The DVR also has a camera, mp3 player, games, voice recorder and a few other options, plus is came with a carrying case download cables and software. I find myself more worried about getting good footage than catching fish, but it's all fun.

This was my first time out with the camera, I was more interseted in getting some decent footage than catching fish (odd for a fishing trip). In addition, I was hoping for some larger fish. It was very helpful to see what the fish do as you jig the bait.
