Fantastic video and I even recognised my old glider there (EGE). Nice one Kai! FWIW I now own a Standard Cirrus G-DCYP, now based at Bourg St Bernard (near Toulouse) still wearing a G reg. Cheers.
even the best videos can be goofed up with a bad choice of music, but watching your videos I get the feeling that the music you choose perfectly harmonizes with the view, which is, needless to say, very nice.
I'll post a video response which shows roughly where and in what type of plane I had my little gliding experience. The video was made by the club members, respect goes to them: MAV Flying Club, Budapest, Hungary.
Bravo! I greatly enjoyed watching this. I just can't imagine soaring around at what looks like landing pattern altitude for a long time on that thing you call a ridge. ;) Very cool to see how you guys did it. Great editing to include the flight track and again just a fun video to watch. It reminds me I need to start taping cameras to the outside of my glider again. Too fun! :) Bruno -B4
@bviv Cheers Bruno. I've done this flight a couple of times, all under the watchful eye of Trevor a BGGC local who's kind enough to share his knowledge of the area and his enthusiasm for cross country soaring with us visitors. It really has pushed back the boundaries of what I thought was possible in gliding, and it's awesome fun too!
You sure know your music (and flying). I think you should start a music channel somewhere - everyone would subscribe. The Shapeshifters is my favorite so far. Where do you get the inspiration for your music? You nail it every time. You on Facebook?

OK i could post a response if I owned the video :P
Anyways, serach for: "Ka-7 Rhönadler" by Hajnalpisti. That's the one.
When I was taken for a flight I was in the plane with the red-white-green rudder.
They're school planes but I loved it, the sound of air, the view.
