  • This is funny!

  • Currently working on my PhD with ocular synthesizers, which would develop certain behaviours "inside" the muscular tissues, among many other applications. If only I had test subjects like you :/

  • wow nice! there'll be coming out soon new phones for blind people and theres dragon a software that reads to you and plus you can put the pc into accesibility mode and speaks for everything that you do or are doing and does feedback take care ! nice vid! lov and peace ! (^-^)

  • Hello I have the env3 and it is verizon you can have the text read it to you when you get a text jut press the space bar hope this makes sence.

  • whats living blind mean?

  • Well... some people asume that I as a blind person can't clean house etc. In some ways we do live differently than the sighted people do. That's where I got the name "living blind"

  • aw thats not nice at all. :[

do you have any disabilities or something? you can see cant you?

  • I can see a little bit but not enough to read print or look at a picture. I can see bright colors like the sun, but that's about it. If you consider being blind a disability then yes. If you're like me then no I do not have any disabilities. I don't consider being blind a disability.

  • so sorry to hear that :(

I dont know much about the blind but I have a feeling the glasses you have make you see clearly so you could read comments & messeges on youtube.

  • Actually I use a "text to speech" program to do that. I also got the name living blind from my first video which has that particular name. Sorry just thought of it. I kept thinking that there was another reason. That video was so long ago though.

  • oomgg i want the env3!

  • I just want a phone that reads back to me what I type. lol.

  • So it does read messages you receive? Is it pretty easy to use? Can you use the mp3 feature and set ringtones? I am actually POSSIBLY getting a cell. I have been dead set against them, but I'm thinking about it. Also - are the keys pretty decent in terms of tactile quality? Thanks - nice video!

  • Yes you can use the keys. If you have trouble use the voice command (I use it for dialing) Minues r Not very accessible, won't read past the point of clicking on something. Like if u click on the sent box for texts. It won't read the sent texts so u better hope u can read them as they're recieved. u might wanna have someone who's sighted set up that program for u. The phone will speak the name of who ever's calling u if their in your contact list. Other wise it reads the phone number.

  • hi. Nice cellphone. They are good to you? do you get use then fine. Sometime modern cellphones is so hard to understand.

    Bye

  • I really like my cellphone except for the "not reading back what I wrote" thing. Other wise it works fine

  • Congrats on the new phone. :D I'm also on Verizon, I have the Voyager. If rumors are true on January 27th with the Appl event, besides a tablet, we could be getting an iPhone on Verizon. I may get that, if it's true.

  • I've been hearing about the iphone thing for a while now... I think. I hope we can. I want one to. Even though I'm not sure if I can use the touch screen. That's the only thing that concerns me about it.

  • The touch screen is easier to use than you think. Flick left & right to navigate items, double tap to activate, tripple finger tripple tap to activate the screen curtain (i.e. turn the screen off) - it's very easy. :)

  • i had that but now the envy 3 is out and i have that instead it is a little better , yeah that is true it does not read back what you typed not even the envy 3 does either

  • I know. Reading back what you typed would be better, proofreading wise.
