@nobbilc There is a fruit called in US called "pawpaw" which is nothing like a papaya. We picked them when I was young, and there was even a cute little song that goes with it. I am not sure exactly which fruit she meant, but just so you know pawpaws are real, and they are spectacular ;)

@keeyk118b No diet provide B12 :) it is bacterias that produce B12, most people get enough B12 but some of them have a problem with abosrbing it. Check out dr Doug Graham and his explaining of it, part 6 on the rawkaton.. :)
@Mekelsior b12 is found in animal products meat milk eggs and esp liver. animals like cows get their b12 from bacteria in hind guts.bacteria in out gut does have b12 but we cannot absorb them. i am going stick to eating some meat and milk 3 times a week.

@lovsoup These are not fruits. Try to eat raw fruits. Watermalon, grape, orange, apple, pear, peach, etc and one of the best, wich has high carbohydrate level is bananas, but bananas has lower glychemic trshold, than pastas or rice!! . Try it and you will feel the difference, like me.
@tzuiop Where do you get your B Vitamins from on Fruitarian Diet? I recently added Bananas to my diet and now my size 6 pants/ shorts are feeling tight. I was supposed to be going down in size so i can lean up with fitness... i do think High glycemic fruits affect people differently depending on how their metabolism/ thyroid/adrenals are working. @lovsoup You can feel how good the raw fruits and veggies, if you lose all the cooked foods, diaries, grains, etc. I think you can get enough B12, if you eat enough veggies. I do not care so much about counting everything, just try to eat different fruits and veggies every day. In worst case I will eat B12 vitamins in capsules. :) But there is a better answer in Doug Graham's 80/10/10 book. Read it. VEry good book! Bananas are one of the best raw energy food. About 800 kcal in 1 kg of bananas.
@keeyk118b I'm doing that now with goat yogurt / goat cheese and feel better. Goat milk is less inflammatory and goats are more limber than cattle too (they have less calcium)
@lovsoup I have since given up ALL DAIRY incluging goat... it was inflammatory in the end. I agree with avoiding dairy. just read an article on how dairy free diet helps prevent tonsillitis and breathing problems in kids too

Such a high sugar diet will mess up your lipid profile. A high fructose diet means high triglycerides. I also wonder if those teeth are her own. Humans are not frugivores nor are we herbivores. The ideal human diet includes meat, poultry, fish, etc plus some plant foods.
@kingmu1 : I do know this - the ideal human diet isn't a fruit-only diet. Persoanlly, I don't eat a lot of meat but I do eat it and it is mostly lean meats. Fish and poultry mostly with unlimited vegetables and moderate fruit intake. Fruit is fine but eating only fruit is insane!
