Can you use those dutch oven pots in your regular oven in the kitchen?....I think when i was a small child my grandma had one of those in her kitchen and i think she used oil to wipe them out????
@creatine64 You can find that info on the web or it is in the instructions of your dutch oven. It will tell you the number of briquets to use to achieve the desired temp. Check the web sights of brand name dutch ovens. Keep in mind there might a difference between cast iron and aluminum . Thanks!
@creatine64 the easiest way is to take the size of your dutch multiply by 2 and make sure that you have double on top that you have on the bottom. ie: 12 in dutch = 24 briquettes = 8 on the bottom and 16 on the top
I'll bet this would be good over buttered egg noodles =)
