If your decisive judgment is on the spoken language of the film, then clearly you have no criteria to make a judgment on filmography.

I saw "Let me in" and I don't know if it is soooo horrible (but yes, sucks, really sucks), but certainly is totally innecesary. The only explanation for its existence is that american people don't like to read subtitles? I don`t know. The original is the best. and of course, the remake doesnt' have kvar i min bil :P

@Cobrakaredfire I finally did see Let Me In and couldn't believe it was practically shot for shot a copy of the original. It was like plagiarism honestly. If someone rewrote the book they'd be sued right? Oh wait, I guess with movies you can buy the right to do that?

Though it was subtle and hell if I know it lacked the charm and endearing qualities of the original. I must rewatch the original now.

the us version doesnt show the pivate part scene. it leaves out more than the original. only has the line where she asks what if she wasnt a girl. but most will assume shes talking about being a vampire.

@Pelonetillo yes i've seen it. i didn't thing it was a bad take on it, a little shock horror, dramatics, for the American audiences, although the outline is the same, some scenes and the order of the scenes was very different. Which i think, wasn't a bad thing, it lets both films stand apart. i started to watch Quarantine, and switched it off before a half hour into it, it was just too much like REC. The same i can't say for Let Me In, however i'ld watch Let The Right One In in preference anyday

alot of things were clearer to me when i read the book :) i know they had to cut out lots of parts of it to do the movie script for example that she used to be a boy etc. anyways great adaptation and a great book
