Do you feel really secure in this ride? Do you ever feel like your gonna fall out? I'm kind of scarred from ever trying a roller coaster because I have bad experiences on carnival rides. Whenever I go on an upside down carnival ride, I always end up falling out of my seat and hanging ONLY by the harness...it's terrifying. Do ANY of the roller coasters at MM make you feel like this? I'm going in 2 weeks and I really want to try my first roller coaster. But NOT if you feel like falling out.

ya about the employees not doing their job im gonna have to politely disagree as with me being the lead there right now main reason it opens late is maintenance plain and simple once they finish their PM inspection they hand the ride over to us after that we still get errors during the blocking process slow train time so employees not doing their job have Nothing to do with it opening late

We open the ride 30 mins after because the the weather ( winds or rain) can be the issue, or we need to double check everything. us employees come to work only 1 hour before park opening.

This video was shot during Media day for the ride, only the media and invited guest could ride. I didn't have to wait in lines, and got 16 rides on it that day.

Weekends the wait can get up to 2-3hours

Weekdays the wait is about 1-2 hours.

I was at the park today and I never saw the wait go above 90mins.

Get to the park 30mins before opening and run to this ride first, and you should have little to no wait.

Have fun and sit in the front for your first ride!

Well, if you run to X2 first, you can get on in the first 5-15 mins of park operation (thats if the ride opens with the park). But I can guarantee that as soon as you get off, the line will be over 2 hours long.

And if you are wondering, this video was shot during Media Day for the ride, and that is the reason why no one is in line.

Go ahead and buy both online. If you buy your admissions ticket at the gate, its going to cost 59.99. Just ask a employee where to get you thrill pass when you get to SFMM.

How can it increase capacity? they built a half of the station that unloads the passenger and you don't use it? all of it is caused everybody to walk more.

Its a little faster now that the train just simply waits in the former unload for about 30seconds (thats if the crew is hitting intervals) instead of rotating seats, unload, re-rotate seats and advance the train into load. And repeat once in load.

That use to take around 60 seconds.

Now they just advance the train into load/unload, rotate seats, unload, open gates, load, check harnesses, rotate seats, and dispatch.

The exits are in the load area. They are located next to the 7th row boarding gates. And they wont be demolishing the former unload, they might use it if it proves efficient with three train operations.

They were using air pressure before, you could hear that hissing for like two minutes as the pneumatics would take their precious time. Hallelujah for them rotating faster! I don't know why it took so long though still as the train stopped and waited to unload the seats though, I'm sure they'll get faster; hopefully.

Nope, they were using levers to unlock the restraints on the old X.

The hissing sound you hear, is pistons pushing the x rails up to rotate the seats to the unload position. After that

(although you cant hear it in the video) there is another air pressure sound that unlocks the restrains that was not there on the old X.

Exactly the same, the only difference is the way they are unlocked and locked using air pressure.
