Hey michaelvick2jail, my wife and I just found out that Grissom (William Petersen) will permanently be out of the CSI scene. Apparently William Peterson is pursuing an executive producer position on the show. However it was also reported that he will still appear from time to time in cameos in some episodes. Anyway this is the most we could get out of the issue of Grissom leaving.

My wife and I believe that maybe Grissom isn't leaving the show for good. Our theory is that William Petersen may have other plans in the coming months which will make him unavailable for the CSI shoots. I hope we are right about this theory because Grissom is in fact the BACKBONE of the show and it wouldn't be CSI Las Vegas without Gil Grissom.

I have shared that same theory with my husband..He is doing some theator acting right now..I am hoping that our predictions are right because in all honesty I have not enjoyed the series since both he and Warrick left..

thanks colocchcree....it was sorta a tribute to the both of them after warrick's final shows and he talked about how grissom was like a father to him and through all the years grissom guided and loved warrick until the very end. i miss both of them..the show is not at all the same. not even close :(
