  • Fuck I never realized how hot she is.

  • Such a sweet voice. Brought a new light to an already good song.

  • Much better than the original! Really makes it her own.

  • She ruins me for all other women.

  • so fine -

  • stick to crap, honey

  • Comment removed

  • this makes her so much hotter.

  • beautiful

  • Espectacular, very cool! Thank you Norah for this great cover!

    Gràcies!

  • I love her, i love her even more with this song.

  • insanely good.

  • I like this hair style better than the long.

  • I cant believe they dont make DVDS of these nuggets in time.We deal with onslaught of Beiber ;Spears ;Swift ;Cyrus etal...There truly is no justice..This is worse than the sixties with the payola scandle..I hope the kids will realize real talent ..I think they will

  • Badass!

  • I miss Jay Bennett in Wilco.

  • italian guitar!..old eko

  • she's sooo beautiful...all of her..everything

  • does anyone know she's ravi shankar's daughter? crazy!! i love her, especially her covers and older stuff.

  • she's just perfect!!!!

  • My ideal woman. If she likes rugby that would be the icing on the cake.

  • she is supremely talented.

  • she's so hot she's about to burst into flames.

  • Such a sweet voice on an awesome tune, loving this cover.

  • dude nora jones is hot

  • Thank you Jay Bennett, you will always be remembered.

  • have loved wilco for year's and norah also ,great cover ! bet wilco is proud !!!

  • i listen to this for like a second makes me wanna go listen to the original

  • @titcdrum Me too.

  • @titcdrum love this comment

  • damn sirius privatized the acoustic live version of this, it was super clear too...anyone have it by any chance?

  • Pussnboots ?

  • 0:24 what was up with that look?

  • decent cover. She's gorgeous though.

  • Borah jones. I;m really not "pissy", she has a competent voice, but its is devoid of variety or emotional range, she just makes everything sound monotonous and uninspired. If you've heard one norah jones song, you have really heard them all. She just doesn't do anything but slow, and "soulful", but without any real soul. Its just blahhh...

  • Ewww. No need to be nice here. Just not a great cover. I think hardcore Wilco fans would have to agree.

  • @MadGeo9804 absolutely agree!

  • i saw this live.. she was captivating, she is gorgeous and she sings beautifully.

  • this is an excellent cover of one of my favorite Wilco songs. Bravo, Ms. Jones!

  • Let's face it: she's got an excellent, soulful voice and does a great cover. I'm a Wilco fan myself, but there's no need for anybody to get pissy about this - she nails it.

  • @FidoDido1980 that corrs song was saying what my heart was feeling at the time...thanks ahole my mother died in the middle corrs concert you insensitive jerk. oh man...please be my nemesis...i love psuedo echo individuals....oh drat i cant even take a piss at a wilco concert without this jerk and his know way know how attitude.

  • Comment removed

  • @FidoDido1980 modern ahole exit stage left...oh wait you werent on the list..well then exit dumpster on the right club 54.

  • @FidoDido1980 norah jones really? was kenny g busy at the time? the kenny..he's g money i can tell you. i hope you like mew or i am kloot or we are through! have a grand day. roger wilco...yawn... peas out...carrots in!!!

  • Im really love this!! <3

  • nice lookin chick with terrific voice covers great song: how can anyone complain about this. get hold of yourselves. try not to be an asshole all the time. this is nice. enjoy things sometimes. see beauty, be pleasant, accept others. don't be yourself -- be someone a little nicer.

  • Dang, I didn't know Norah Jones played guitar, this is really good.

  • @narupm to quote Thom Yorke: everyone can play guitar. this is standard fare.

  • @teoferrazzi *Anyone : )

  • @kn1feparty whoops thank you for noting

  • I was a little surprised that Nora did this cover pretty well.

  • great cover, but no use whatsoever for the second broad playing guitar. sorry! if anything she makes it worse.

  • @teoferrazzi

Nora is playing a nylon string classical guitar and the girl accompanying her is playing a steel string acoustic guitar. They have slightly different tones. The classical guitar being a bit softer and "round", while the acoustic guitar is brighter. They probably chose that approach to enhance the texture of the rhythm bed.

  • @barontjr the palm muted strumming is god awful. which one is it? i can't tell, you can never see their hands well. who is it? whoever it is needs to be removed from the band. yeah, even if it's Norah Jones :P it's wilco for god's sake, not an acoustic cover of Rihanna

  • Wow, she looks and sounds great in this vid.

  • @nikitak1012 if you find a good tab please forward it along...

there are few out there but nothing like bnorhas and i would like to something similar to hers!!

  • How could she butcher this song? it's an awesome cover.

  • I was there. I'm a huge Wilco fan and had never given Norah Jones a chance, just not my kind of music. For all of you people criticizing this performance on youtube you don't understand how perfect of a vibe her set gave off. Completely laid back, relaxed, and all around wonderful. It may not translate perfectly here, but this certainly was a faithful and excellent cover that night.

  • I absolutely love Norah's new Cd. Indeed, If one plays it backwards, you can hear a hidden track Called "Troglodyte Blues" which is symbolic for the White Man becoming backwards.

  • Norah is the new Natalie. Gorgeous voice. Stunning gifts.

  • God, Norah is devastatingly beautiful.

  • @volvoamsel hahaha

  • Its just a little to fast. but i never would have looked up wilco and discovered their music if she didn't do this cover. I think thats kinda the point of doing a good cover. :)

  • ravi's little girl is class

  • great song...great job Nora!

nice to see you away from the piano...

  • I fall deeper every time I see the women in the video and hear her oh! So Sultry voice. It' s a one of a kind

  • Eh...

  • She ruined it.

  • this is orgasm

  • My mother-n-laws favorite artist covering my all time favorite band. Weird. Cool-weird.

  • I don't have a problem with Norah Jones (in fact, I think she has a beautiful voice), but the arrangement here seems a little messy. She and the other guitarist are stepping on each other's feet, methinks.

  • She changed some of he words?

Our love is all of gods honey?

  • I thought this was lead singing lad out of Ronan Keating's band for a second then.

  • Amazing!

  • it's too bad she screwed up some of the lyrics.... nice cover though.

  • @Coxford what lyrics?

  • God Rest Jay Bennett, She did a lovely version

  • Let's not forget that this song was co-written with Jay Bennett.

  • @Bingopeterson Jay Bennett=bees knees

  • she' beautiful, damned!!!

  • As a huge Wilco fan, I thought it was a very moving cover. She was great.

  • @Wilco362 I agree. Also being a huge Wilco fan, her voice is beautiful.

  • They say that imitation is the most sincerest form of flattery,so I was glad that she paid serious homage to Jeff Tweedy and Wilco. Whether or not she did a good or bad job with the song (and I think she did very well with it) doesn't matter. If it was the Culture Club or Metallica covering Wilco,I would be just as happy! LOL!

  • I love Jeff Tweedy, but this is just plain beautiful. It's an awesome piece of flattery.

  • I swear she said "Our love is all we got honey,"but you are right about the whine-cry mistake.

  • I agree with Kentkoren, and I don't use this term often, but this/she is beautiful.

  • I heard this song live two nights in a row, love the in and outs of it. Miss Jones has done it justice I must say.

    Turning your orbit around.

  • I love it, and ill give all my respect to who ever sings it!!!! AWESOME SONG!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • I love the original but I like this too, it's different, so? It's a different spin, and while I'm head over heels for the original, I think variety can only keep things fresh. It's tasteful and pretty and sincere, and that's cool.

  • HOly Crap she's beautiful. .....and a hell of a singer....

  • Sounds very detached from the song... she has a lovely voice but she isn't really conveying the song itself in her presentation, and the harsh downstrokes are too aggressively driving for this song. But I'm glad she covered it, any Wilco exposure is good exposure in my book.

  • It's obvious why Wilco fans do not like this cover. Norah Jones' voice is so good that it really highlights the limitations of Wilco's lead singer, Tweedy.

  • 'Limitations'? In what sense? Not sure what you mean there. I'm both a Wilco fan and a Norah fan. I think they are both great singers who convey a lot of emotion in their singing. Jeff is a fantastic rock singer, even better live than on record, I can assure you. Norah did a great cover of a great song here. She makes it her own, which is the mark of a good cover. I personally like to avoid assumptions most of the time.@catullusrl

  • i love this song but her cover is so notey ... still lovely!

  • Love Nora but feel this version kind of stabs at the song with its sharp down-stroke rhythm. Maybe that's the intention.... Still prefer Wilco for this one!!!! Interesting though....

  • What a lovely cover! She gives it such a nice feel...

  • norah got soul

  • jesus, that's good. See you in London, Ont.!

  • My favorite of the Norah Jones songs. I prefer this accoustic version over the electric enhanced version on her latest album.

  • not a norah song, see wilco for more information

  • My appologies. I did realize it was a Jeff Tweedy- WILCO song and should have rephrased the sentence. I copy Mr. Tweedy's version myself . Both great. Still like this version better with the stand-up bass.

  • It's not her song. She's covering Wilco.

  • great wilco song. great version by norah jones. she's beautiful and has a beautiful voice to boot. im happy.

  • Interesting hearing one of my favorite Wilco tunes interpreted by a woman. Especially a woman like Norah who can sing this well. GREAT video, thanks for posting this!

  • I'm a big-time Wilco fan and this is probably my favorite song of theirs. This version's not bad. I definitely prefer the original, but this one's still good. Definitely not the ZOMG ABORSHUN some people seem to be making it out to be.

  • Good cover, she knows which band is the ebst out there today ;o)

  • yuck...don't ruin one of the best songs ever

  • I was there! Norah Jones was super hot.

  • No their not "mainstream". That's why they are playing a FREE concert at the Olympics 2010?!?! From the counter at Starbucks to this; a concert to SUPPORT the Olympics. Sorta goes against all the Woody Guthrie stuff.

  • lol, wilco isn't mainstream? haha

  • Obviously there will be wilco fanboys who will hat e this version becuase it's a more mainstream artist recording a classic song but while this is not a revolutionary cover, it s a beautiful rendition and her new alum is very good. But not as good wilco(the album) but then what is?

  • i like both versions....i think she did an excellent job with this song!

  • Greatness! Touches my soul, super, super, amazing! Go WIlco! Props to Norah, bebbelibob agreed she does this song justice.

  • Come on, folks. I love Wilco and Norah Jones isn't really anything big in my book. But she's got talent, she's charming, she's a good singer and she did this song justice.

  • I prefer this version to Wilco's.

  • is there an mp3 of this to d/l?

  • It's a deluxe edition of her new album The Fall. The deluxe edition include a Bonus CD with a live rendition of this song and others.

  • wow she covered better than Wilco does live! Beautiful voice.

  • oh shes a doll

  • is that catherine popper playing bass?

  • cool how at 0:24 she looks back to the kids from the Bridge School sitting at the back of the stage..but wonder what that head shake was all about

  • the look and head shake were for the lady on bass who should have come in with backup vocals right then

  • yeah i understand know..lol..calling an audible at the line of scrimmage lol

  • that was cool. looks like a more straight forward Norah. I like it

  • The best wilco tune sung by a great singer

  • Norah with guitar...who knew? Great Wilco tune.

  • interesting that she plays it in a lower key than Wilco, she has the capo on the 2nd fret, not the 4th..sounds great

  • She has a really deep voice for a girl... but it sounds really femine which is weird for girls with deep voices.

I can bearly sing as deep as her!!! (i'm male...)

  • I think that it's great that an artist like Nora Jones swould cover a Wilco tune - and why not, it's a fantastic song and she has an amazing voice - Well Done.

  • Great version! Norah looks good in blue or any other color. Is this song on any of her albums?

  • this is a Wilco song, from way back....

it tickles me to see her do this song. two of my favorite people combined in one

  • not bad, but really, it didn't add anything to the original. that, however, happens to be one of the greatest tracks ever made.

btw, didn't norah sing smooth nyc jazzy tunes before? here's she appears to be a full on country singer with a southern accent. bad turn.

  • She almost looks like Kiera Knightley.

  • love it!

  • this is cool. her hair does look super different, i think

  • still love this and still watch it from time to time. glad i saw it live, she is great!

  • Wilco Rules! Wish more people covered their songs. If you haven't heard of Wilco, check them out. They rock

  • They're OK.

  • Once I saw her in new orleans before a show. I had no idea who she was, just thought she was a pretty girl so I said hello. Then she came out on stage and I was like holy crap that's that girl I met.

  • Very cool!

  • She looks different with new hair style.

  • this makes me hate her a lil less...i mean i still hate her.....just not as much as i use to

  • norah i love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is WEAK! Wilco is way better

  • shut up

  • I'm a huge Wilco fan, but this cover literally made me cry. It was like hearing the song for the first time. She's amazing!

  • Was it from her masterful guitar work?

    /sarcasm

  • i still watch this to the day. great cover. she is awesome

  • Pretty lady, but she has not learned that you can't improve on Jeff Tweedy... EVER! lol

  • i love you even more now norah !!

  • Norah Jones is HOT!

  • I think I kinda fell in love with Norah Jones just now.

  • I think I also just fell in love with Norah Jones just now. Wow she's gorgeous and talented.

  • hhehehe

    me too

  • This, I love. Cover or no.

  • my respect for her music just went up about 4 notches.

  • who's backing her up here?

  • Catharine Popper is on bass.

  • YES

  • i must say again. this is a great song. i love both versions. i missed wilco that night and she just came on and was all " you heard this song already tonight but we love it and here it goes". awesome!

  • Nice endorsement form Ms. Jones - Wilco are a great band.

  • you can tell norah really likes the song and in the chorus she does her thing really well. it's also wilco's most played out song, so even though it's great, it is really cool to hear it from a new angle.

  • I LOVE NORAH!!! I saw her in concert in 2007 at Odeon of Herodes Atticus in Athens! She is so pure, so friendly, so unique! Her voice is magical. So smooth, so warm, so crystal clear. She fills my heart with tranquillity when I listen to her CDs, or watch her DVDs. By the way, I LOVE her new haircut!

  • great cover... great show overall wish i was there

  • This is an incredibly beautiful cover. I love this song. I love the bass. And I love Norah's voice.

  • simply beautiful. one of my favorite wilco songs and she covers it perfectly.
