he was using a 44 magnum with blanks and he shot himself in the head. The blank at close range drove the wad into his head. He seems to have been a good guy. It was a bad scene, his heat was donated and the guy who got it tried to make celebrity off the deal.

Most of the scenes here are from JEH's last episode on Cover Up. I noticed it's not Jon-Erik's voice from 0:57 to 1:06; by the time this episode was finished, JEH had already died and someone else redubbed some of his lines.

I sure hope they release all he's done on DVD sometimes. I voted on the TVShowsonDVD website for Cover Up. Voyagers got released last year, so chances are there.

Dumb question. Why would they redubbed lines when he is right there? That is stupid.

I guess they redubbed lines that were spoken too quietly or where the actors made minor mistakes. I read they used to do the redubbing at the end of the production of an episode. That's why they used a voice actor to say JEH's lines. It's noticeable in many scenes of Golden Opportunity.
