On the subject of the seatbelts ; here in Canada, it is NOT mandatory for emergency personnel (Police, Fire, EMS) to wear their seatbelts, as when they arrive on scene they want people out as fast as they can. Awesome video, I love that Federal Q.

I don't see anything wrong with the operator and his driving.. Whom ever was riding the seat, that's a great way to burn up a Q.. If I was the Operator, I would have been yelling at the person riding the seat to quit keeping the Q pinned.. There is nothing wrong with winding the Q out, but to keep on it for minutes on end is going to burn it up..

Great video i live in Stockton Cal i here the FD go out C-3 all the time and the cap verry raelly blowes the Q or stay on the Q in the truck or engians i wish they wood get on the Q like u did i really dont care if u cuse or not sometimes it breaks the stress o f going C-3 u dont no what u r going 2 find going 987 FDs all around the EC,WC exspress there selfs differently going C-3 if u whant 2 talk,cuse, or help pull the horn chain its ok all of u r great u save LIVES ,HOUSES god be with u all.

@fmartinjr The drivers unprofessional attitude towards driving, level of attention while in operation of such equipment, lack of using appropriate safety equipment, commenting to the person operating the video camera, and poor usage of the sirens all point me in the direction of very poor driving techniques for someone with professional training in that department.

@DC08SI It was unprofessional,the sirens were over-used, driver should have been totally concentrated on the road and other drivers aorund him,all of us on board should have had on seatbelts. You're not wrong about those things because it's obvious.No need to point out the obviously known. But my point is you don't know,or ride rigs with this driver so you don't know if this is an everyday thing, once a month, or just in this video the way he was driving.But you said a fact about regular drivers

b.) You were born attached to the driver’s body. (Which I will state that I didn't see in the video.)
I pointed out the obvious because other people beside you do read the comments, and perhaps they didn't realize the extent of unprofessionalism by the driver, officer or crew. Relax. ;)

He took his hands off the wheel for a second and a half, and he didnt wait for 2 full lanes to clear out for him. Hes also driving way to fast. God i hope hes not coming to save me. What is the AO doing yanking on the horn! Concentrate on driving and the officer of that engine needs to keep his crew quite during the response. Another thing, this is a prime example of why volunteer companies are looked down upon by career guys. Very unprofessional!
