Before that, they were great vehicles, and then they got bought by Daimler and instantly we started seeing crapping interiors, dumb styling, and a huge drop in reliability. Then they got bought by Cerberus and the problems got even worse. Now that they're in partnership with Fiat, however, reliability is climbing steadily, their interiors are the best out of the Big Three, and a class-leading V6. Check the 2011 NACTOY nominee list.
@JETZcorp Awards can be good, but honestly I don't like any of Chrysler products. Granted the new Dodge Challenger doesn't look too bad. But unless they changed that V6 to something better, it is running 0-60 in 7.5 seconds and around 500 pounds heavier than Mustang and Camaro. I'd own a Ford or GM before I'd own a Chrysler.

But in return for that it's also the most comfortable and has the largest interior and most trunk space. For raw performance the new 392 Challenger is the pony car to beat, with a better 0-60 than the 5.0 Mustang and 0.92g on the skidpad (vs 0.88 last year).
@JETZcorp Chryslers were never known for their reliability, even prior to Daimler. D-C was probably one of the worst ideas in the history of the automotive industry, but there's no real guarantee Fiat's ownership is going to be great either.
