each year's exam papers are different and your score is mostly based on the entire primary 6 cohort that year (which means, if you are lucky and most ppl score lower than you, u'll get a higher aggregate score! ^^)

I find that people should not blame MOE on the papers they set for PSLE. There is no easy or difficult paper actually. For example like math, no matter how they change the question, the concept is still there. Even if you say that it is difficult, others will think its difficult, but if you did not score well and others score well, you can only blame yourself for not studying hard enough to deserve those marks. I can understand for those who studied hard and get a low score. Just try harder !

E difficulty of national exams here are just getting higher and higher. And one thg tht bothers me a lot is tht these exams arent really testing e intelligence of kids but how hardworking they are. E more u practice and memorise e higher e chance of u getting better grades thus labelled smart. This is absurb! Its just turning kids into efficient money making machines for e future. The PSLE math papers are too hard. It involves algebra and simultaneous equations to solve some of these questions, and these types of questions are only covered at a secondary level. It will only be a matter of time before basic lower secondary math is incorporated into the primary school syllabus, trust me.
