  • Please could you tell me what modifications have been made to the tdi defender, as it sounds epic!

Lovely video by the way :)

  • @DefenderTDBlack Not sure of the details, but know it has an uprated 2,6L BMW str6-cyl motor and ARB air lockers, OME suspension and BIGGGG wheels. Fantastic little truck!

  • @4xforum It's a Defender 90 with a single vanos M52 2.8i BMW motor as found in the 328i E36 and 528i E39. Only produced in South Africa. Brutal little vehicles with lots of power.

    I love mine to death!!!!

  • @kumquatsta Yes.. Only with the DIsco-3 did that all change and the DIsco lost some of its off-road appeal.

  • @6Camel6Finger6 bloody apt... ha.. out in da bogs of ireland is da place 2 b... double wheels n al on da 4x4s

  • @fiatmad Not sure what you mean. Is dune driving not off-roading in your view? I far prefer it to rock climbing as it's faster and just as technical.

  • @4xforum naw i wood not b into rock climbing much either.... i just mean on like soft marshy places lik i drive on the bogs of ireland, reli super soft stuff, need 2 hav homemade double wheels on all 4 wheels 2 even hav a chance of gettin through it, and u still get bogged quite a bit.... gr8 fun tho...
