That's a fine opinion to which you are entitled, however, it is only an opinion. As to him being one of the most celebrated guitarists of all time, I did indeed see he is ranked #39 by Rolling Stone. That is great, but really, I don't know all of the top 40 and don't expect everyone else to! My opinion is that a 22 yr old should know how to spell "who" but you don't see me harping about it! ;-)

Queen quite possibly could have been the biggest band of all time. You are only fooling yourself if you think that they wouldn't still be on top if Freddie Mercury wouldn't have passed away. When it comes to musicianship Queen is head and shoulders above The Stones.

you didn't do anything wrong. is it a crime not to know a specific musician? it's no big deal. and you're right. they could have introduced you to him as a friendly gesture instead of attacking you.
