ok, so you are the #1 cat on youtube, you are pullin alot of metal through the gate, so why the sling? i know you can afford a self loader, just like goin old school or? anyways thanks for all the videos, we're pullin alot of cars out here in chattanooga, i always gotta check out what you're doin man, very good, very clean,
RepoRich,,,,,listen man you do great work, but enjoy life dont kill yourself to live, lol,Am saying this even though you use those dolleys to push the out,the strenght you're putting it's popping that vein above your nose,,,and that's how you get hernias,go easy fellow, the years bring us down fast,,men age quicker than women, lol
I would have slimmed into it and released the ebrake or hooked the rear with my truck after placing the go jacks and just towed it across the complex like that then hooked the front and boogie... there is always a way!
Yes i Do, keep them locked up and out of sight when not in use. Most trucks either are set up like yours with a tool box or have a built in side door. service body style.
here's a stupid question but u sound like a nice guy. so if i were to get myself a 250 or something like that and put a tow in my bed(like ur setup, sorry i dont know ur tow language, lol) and call myself a repo would it be that simple(aside from all the licenses)? by the way i love ur videos!
Hey freeshot thanks for asking.. Well make sure of the requirements for repo or tow trucks where you live get certified, licenses that are needed and bond and insurance is needed as well as a lot (usually). Experience is number one especially to try and take on a new client... Thanks for watching by the way!
Right again Adam! Do you do repos? You call em straight up man. I used to just lift the vehicles then take the second go jack without having to pump it down but I for got one and split the scene... went back after realizing I left one and it was gone. They are pretty dang expensive, so never again. I only puff the baby cigars when hyped BTW.
the hooks you put on the car have slack when you drive away. Are they there incase like the car falls off or something? if so, idk if it's neccecary to attach those things. i mean sometimes your really in a spot where you shouldn't get out of your car at all and you get out and run around hooking those things up. idk if i would do it if it's just added support
Hi there and thanks for watching! Actually the hooks are what grabs and secures the vehicle, unless using the quick pins but the vehicle must have a metal bumper or hitch for those. Without chains the car won't go very far before it slides off the end of the boom end.
I can see your point...and the go jacks were a great solution...but you can still hook on with the go jacks...dont really have to push....but thats just my way....what works for you is always the best...good luck and be safe.
Hi there repoman, yeah I have pulled units with go jaks on before, usually to get away but there were speed bumbs in the complex so just pushed it! Thanks for the tip though and thanks for watching man! What state you repo in? Be safe out there always!!
And RR, those go-jaks that I recommended from Harbor Freight Tools a while back really work 10 times better than the name brand go-jaks... I assure you.
They're easier to push cars around, and you can raise the car up using your hand... and they lower in 1 second (if that long) with the twist of a knob.
Hey repoman, well I will definantly get those when I need a new set or if I lose one of mine or bring on a second truck. I belive you for sure! Thanks too for the tip!!
Well, hooking up to them is all and well... but the wheels on the go-jaks do turn, and the car won't pull straight sometimes... so either you could weld the wheels straight.. or put wheels on them that don't swivel. Or just have somebody keep the car following your truck while you pull it out. And, if you cross over some cracks, the go-jaks will come off... and then you have a lot more problems than you already began with.
ya, not quite sure why you dnt just hook up to the car....with no other cars to the left of your repo...you had plenty of room to hook and go...or back up once your out...pushing takes too long. just a thought
Hey repoman, well the vehicle is front wheel drive so I did not want to drag it and make all the noise to have the debtor come out and possibly not get the unit. This way was much quieter even though it took longer.. It was still pretty quick. They go a lot faster when not being taped by the way! Thanks for the comment man,
all this sling tslk! no offence but EAGLE CLAW! its the fastest out there! no dinamick 500 or sling can touch it! not disin the sling heritage is great
Hay Rich a little advice. When Go-Jaking my man just leave them on the car and back the sling up and hook up and lift it and throw the jaks in the bed until you get down the street. I do this all the time. I can go jak a good size car and be loaded and gone in about 1 min 15seconds! THey will put muscle on you.
Also, How did the Mazda 5 do with the sling? I just got a 2007 issued and i'm skiping it right now. Did the plastic do ok?
Hola man, you know I used to lower one jack and back up to unit then hook and grab jacks, but believe it or not I have more than once, grabbed the drivers side and took off!! They get costly when you leave them behind...
Smarter but in that much of a hurry I have left em.
The 5 front end has a screen on the lower part and it pushed up but all pushes back into place after dropping the unit. Girl came and redeemed hers already and looks exactly the same as when we stole it from her! GETIT!
Got to have a big lot for those big vehs, cost too much. Stick with autos 30 plus fit in my yard (more if all drive). Have done rvs and motorhome, motorcycles, boats etc in the past mostly cars trucks and vans now.
WoW!!!! just like the old movie's in the 70's.it's cool.and a Thank's from germany :-D

Need a winch, and a hook on the side of the go-jacks. Hook the line up to one of the jacks, and winch it out.

I was digging the efficiency-
remove 1 go jack run to truck
drive truck to car- HOOK UP
then, remove the 2nd go jack.
sweet.
