The rest of the media isn't liberal. Granted they are a little bit more liberal than FOX News...but if a real liberal came around, they would hate him just as much as they hated Barry Goldwater. Obama is a lot closer to the middle than someone like Howard Dean was. If Obama was a true extreme left winger...he would be proposing the public option right now, without any regard to his popularity. Just as someone like Limbaugh is for the right wing. And I'm personally not left or right.

Dean is doing a great job as DNC chairman. Perhaps he should have toned down his rhetoric and been more 'presidential' after Iowa in 2004, but big deal - he got the crowd pumped at a pep rally.

The crowd heard Dean through the hand held microphone, which is also what this film picked up. The networks had a direct feed from the condenser mic clipped to Dean's tie. These microphones are designed to eliminate ambient noise, so it was easy for the media to get a clean recording of the scream and manipulate it.

It was a pep rally shout, not a "meltdown" as the mediawhores portrayed it. And Dean's comments about breaking up media conglomerates was EXACTLY why they attacked him.

Wow, I listened carefully and I couldn't even hear the famous "byaaah" scream which was then played on CNN and Fox News 800 times the next day. The media definitely had it out for Dean. Too bad...he was the person who first got me to care about politics.
