i guess cos its dark....twisted..epic..overwhe­lmingly good...you should know awards are not handed out on merit nowadays..its all about looks and popularity..this music is too much for the ears of commoners..hence 4 mtv awards for lady gaga..the powers that be like to keep things nice and simple..

He got a well deserved standing ovation at the end. It was a great privilege to witness such a great artist at work. You could hear every single note and they were all inch perfect. All credit to the philharmonic orchestra as well of course! Hans Zimmer, for me the number 1 composer, may he overwhelm us for years and years to come!

I had also the great privilege to be there and to assist to this incredible event with my family. Amazing to see all this orchestra playing during 20 (!) minutes my favourite soundtrack : this guy (Mr Zimmer) is a genious and I hope that the concert as been recorded by the organisators and that we will be able to buy/see the inception suite in HD and full stereo quality ... Anyway many thanks to you for posting this first report of the event.

thx for posting., I was in row 12 to the right of Hans Zimmer :), it was a fantasic event (the VIP free drinks and food was a bonus!). I really hope they release the concert on DVD or bluray
