@micah960 No. You'd need something more closely approximating the shape of a face as your armature. For a lion or something with a snout this technique's massive "nose" works fine. But in Vega's case, you want it to start dipping towards the mouth right after the tip of the nose, and a milk jug isn't appropriate for that. Maybe you could do it with the other half of the milk jug, I suppose, but I'm not going to say it would 100%.

This wouldn't even fit your face. Using a gallon milk jug is a terrible idea. They also fail to mention to add salt to the flour/water mix to prevent it from molding.

I've used this method and it worked very well with me. I personally used flour, water and glue to make the paste. Its all about being creative. Use the paper as if you're using clay and it will work. Just dip it in the paste to make it most.

I read somewhere else that in order to get a perfect face to fit your face you should lay flat and cover your face with petroleum jelly about 1/4 in think then lay the news paper on your face instead of a milk jug. Oh and use strws and place in your nostrils do that there will be holes for you to breath out of

@grsimmons for that you use plaster bandages which dry in about fifteen minutes. If you used paper mache that would take over night to dry. And i dont think you would want it on your face that long.

I've used this method and it worked very well with me. I personally used flour, water and glue to make the paste. Its all about being creative. Use the paper as if you're using clay and it will work. Just dip it in the paste to make it most.
