Boy, John Daly said it correctly at the end; I wish more young people TODAY would go out and have that much consideration to pay for their own college education instead of thinking that they deserve it or are entitled to it. Get it the way that I and your parents/grandparents got it; go EARN it.
They probably got letters after the first "dairy" incident. Eggs are considered a dairy product because they're sold in the dairy department of grocery stores, along with milk, butter and cheese. .... Of course, you often find the orange juice there, too, and that's not considered a dairy product. It just shows what a complicated world we live in.
What cute, well-mannered, likeable kids. And did you notice that Bill made a little apology to Miss Francis during his exit, in light of his inadvertent "Yes, sir" answer? Classy.
Funny guy Shelley Berman appeared a number of memorable times in early 1960s WML. Here we get [0:36 > ] a brief rare instance of seeing a WML guest smoking on live TV in the 1960s -- Oscar Levant in 1965 also comes to mind.
I don't get why they said yes to "dairy" and John didn't correct them, especially in light of his and Arlene's hilarious answers to Dorothy Kilgalen on another show regarding eggs not being a dairy product.
Haha I was thinking the exact same thing. I wish I could remember what it was Arlene said to Dorothy in that episode to write a funny remark here but I can't remember! It is one of the best ones, the one you are refering to!

Can't remember the last time I heard "perspicacity" used on modern TV, plus a joke about it.
