  • Video quality is crap too.

  • Great you've success, congratulations,

    Roman

  • very good Video. love your voice so much.

  • i have a diof version of sonar and have problems with the drum kit or the "dropzone" - input all the notes in their correc titming but it doesn't play them all...dunno what to do

  • What version of Sonar you are using?

  • hahahah, i can´t stop laughing. this is a great video!

  • hahahah. the vocals really are something...

  • Voice Like Drunk Frog :D :D :/

  • Ahh...yeah....??Dude.... hate to be negative but this is fucking awful...tune your shit and learn how to sing,Please!!

  • how can i normalize the volume of the midi notes?? i use a keyboard so every note i play has different volume. can you help me??

  • wow lol this was fucking terrible.

  • I better laugh....

  • what?

  • lol

  • Wasted my time...

    awesome...

    idiot!

  • This is the worst tutorial I have ever seen CONGRADULATIONS!!!!!!

  • keren om.. :D

  • oh good tutorial, you don't teach anything!

    ¬¬

  • how do you get the drums on there? im on the piano roll view and i go to click on the keys but theres no sound

  • So how would you EQ these drums to sound real?

  • reverb... bump the mids

It's MIDI, so it's never going to be real, in my opinion. Drum machines have no soul ya know?

  • can't, they are GM drums...better to either use a real drummer or use a vst like superior drummer or BFD or addictive drums or something....all of which rock for different uses and have plenty of styles, kits and nuances

  • I think it's better if the Vocals were muted LOL..

  • drums sound bad. Need to turn them into audio and then EQ them.

  • Oh dude.

  • Great Vocals!! Good music career ahead!!

  • If you havan't got a bass.. you can always use VSTi (Virtual instruments)

There's "ManyTone - ManyBass" , "Broom stick bass" these two software are the best (in my opinion) or.. if you have any keyboard.. a General MIDI bass that you can record as an audio signal can be great after good eq, compressor and other fx.

  • The vocals from 3:44 on is one of the funniest things i've ever heard on youtube...i nearly pissed myself listening to this...hahaha

  • That's pretty harsh but very true. I was nearly crying with laughter when it kept getting repeated.

  • hahahahaha your right you know

  • vocal track in stereo file...

  • HaHa! The "vocals" are a trainwreck!

Dayum, delete the vocal track and it's not a bad 'lil ditty.

  • keyboards are gay. good work dude.

  • you mean that actual hardware keyboard or the piano roll on the screen. Yeah, the hardware keyboard is gay. I just want to drag note on the piano roll. Much easier and I have more space in my room.

  • sounds like the south park intro

  • this is a tutorial..be thankful..i dont see he post this video as how to make beautiful kick ass song.so dont say this and that n all the damn rules

  • Holy crap, that looks tedious. You're good at it though. No midi keyboard huh?

I'm sure you can use your computer keyboard also. Just use midi record and record kick and snare in real time for a few measures and then cut and paste for the rest. At cymbals and toms on the next passes.

I usually construct the drum track first and lay the rest of the song over that.

  • HEy..lets all spend hours on Cakewalk, only to find out we still dont know how it works....waste of money...its a booooo

  • haha, i'm thinking the same thing, but gotta keep learning. If you can record audio you're half way there. Better than stacking shelves

  • Hmmm...now that you've got the drums down...time to get some singing lessons :-)

  • when i bring up the program it says theres no midi outputs please select, but i dont have any, do i need a new sound card with midi capabilites? plz help

  • Every soundcard have a different name. You can try every name in your soundcard. Good luck.

  • Thanks man now I know how to make a drum :D

  • bravo, very proficient

  • That's pretty good - your vocals are strange and interesting. Is that your own drum groove?

  • DO NOT make a drum groove in a rock song without Bass, consider it as a rule.

It does not sounds good sound base-less.

  • It does not sounds good. it sounds base-less.*

  • Do you mean bass guitar. If so, whats the best way of recording bass if u havent got a bass guitar??

  • You use the VST bass guitar in one of the VST that comes with Sonar.

  • dang that is rediculous how fast you can make such a good sounding addition to the song

  • i don't that song is crap good drum beats by the way

  • wow that song is crap

  • Sorry about my tutorial, because I not drummer. Here, I am only trying to exemplify to make the drum with sonar.

  • "because I not drummer" LOL your not a musician either!!! LOL

  • Maybe are u ?

  • you did a fine job for how fast you did it!!
