Unfortunately now it's 100 times worse, there's now a time limit and in addition, the 50/50 is now the double dip and switch the question is now Ask an Expert. The only good thing is that I believe before each higher money question, they show you the category before you see the question, and in addition, you have 4 lifelines after the $1,000 mark instead of $25,000.

Yeah, they stopped doing the $32k, $64k, and $125k format starting season three. September of 2004 was when it was introduced. They need to bring back the old format, that was a lot more fun.

I was in the audience for this one. Meredith tried five or six times to say "thesaurus" (they edited it down here), and the producers insisted she re-read it until she said it right. After a few times, it just got funnier, and we yelled out, "Oh, leave it in!" Glad to see that they did.
