This split-screen looks like they're speaking across a time warp: the interviewer is talking on a bluetooth headset -- to Edwards who's talking on a 1970's era corded phone.
I'd like to know why the multi-millionaire piece of shit is using federal campaign matching funds. This socialist lying trial lawyer scum is going down in flames. And still he wastes our money. What a loozer!
**The National Weather Service has issued a RON PAUL MONEYBOMB WARNING for your viewing area. On December 16, exepect high accumlations of money, up to 20 million dollars plus to pour down on this Republican nominee.**
Check out the -- I Can't Take Them Anymore - video that summarizes some of the evils of the present insane administration and those who have done some of the deeds that will create problems that will take decades to correct.
But you are way off with your comments on John Edwards. Your opinion is not based on any facts whatsoever. He cares because it looks good? You make that accusation against any of the candidates, including Paul. You have no basis for your dumb-ass claims.
Ron Paul thinks that the free market can solve everything. But the free market doesn't even work on paper. Free market polocies and favors have put us where we are today. Furthermore, Paul ignores Global Warming. Paul's policies may sound good, but he will simply pump more and more power into the military/industrial complex, and he knows that.
He wants to strengthen the US dollar, he wants to grow the economy, stop borrowing, eliminate programs that encourage dependency. What evidence do you have that he will "pump more and more power into the military/industrial complex"?
The so-called "free market" which he loves so much is one with the MIC. Supporting the free market is supporting comsumer-inperialism, which is supporting the MIC. The free market, furthermore, is anti-democratic. It creates an aristocracy of the rich, and supresses all but those on the top, who are not even decided by merit, but by whether they are white, rich sociopaths.
Kucinich. He has a long record of being willing to sacrifice everything for what is right, and he has all the right policies, no exceptions that I am aware of. Dodd and Biden are bad. Keyes, well, don't even get me started.
And the whole 'peace through strength' thing could work. You're wrong about Dodd. He has bigger balls than the rest combined (including ol' Hil). At least he stands up to this administration. Biden seems alright... if he can shake that plagiarism thing.
Well, they're not bad, but they're not good either. Both, like Hill and Edwards, supported the war at the outset. Kucinich has the best record of any canidate in the race (and his wife is hot as hell, yes), and he has better stances on every issue than any other. The thing about Kucinich is he understands that the Gov. has two jobs: secure the people's rights and, in a capitalist society, make sure the "free market" doesn't get out of hand, as it has here.
You make good arguments, but lets just remember: avoid Ron Paul like the plague. He wants to repel anti-trust and safety laws that keep corporations in line. He believes the best policy regarding corporations is one of trust. Trust something that's stated goal is to profit regardless of the welfare of the people? AH!

Islamic Fascist want to convert America to Islam, or make us slaves, or kill us to achieve an Islamic State. Negotiating with them will not change their minds or stop them from making war. On the contrary, appeasement is victory to our enemy no matter how small the concession.

that's uncalled for. I don't think much of this young man's views (if I recall right), but at least he speaks well, and for you to attack him as being a tool for posting a nice video is ridiculous don't you think? He got a candidate running for president to answer several questions. That's great.
Gotta love how Americans label anyone with an ounce of compassion for people outside their own family as a "liberal". When I first started watching James I thought he was a conservative because he's clean-cut and was mostly talking about Republicans. I texted, 07.14.07, via, infamous video added, 07.13.07,
In CONTEXT:
Yes, he wants a smaller group for a Debate.
But it, would/will, be a series of Debates, connected, for the purpose of being more effective, in dealing with the issues, interests, and participation of the public.
Debate/Debates, will be a, 'RANDOM DRAWING OF THE CANDIDATES', so as not being unfair to any Candidate.
And as one and all hears in this video, John Edwards, expresses this.
-
John Edwards, expressing his knowledge, experiences, and vision, of the Domestic poverty issues, and the Worlds poverty issues, shows he is the type of person we need for President.
I've heard this really weird story, how the U.S. secret political society ships in females who engage in sexual activity for $1000 an hour, are Edwards's comments loaded with them ? Ooh boy, he must be pretty populair then.
Probably U.S. polls don't show votes but money raised with foragers.
What is the link between you, John Kerry & George Bush, like are you old boys part of somekind of covert club ? And what about the American people, how much money did you made out of them by swindeling the 2004 elections ?
John Edwards has my vote... If you look at his poise and sincerity when he talks, you don't get that really from other candidates. He reminds me allot of John F. Kennedy...
Anyone got any Ideas on how we are going to deal with the mass Buy out of American Corporations from China. When the Dollar index falls in to the 70's witch should happen here in next few weeks? We won't have to Work with China, they will Own us E-Cheese! They are not saving all that money for no reason! There watching dollar fall so they can buy more for there buck!
Why do these Top Tier have to Censor there comments on YouTube! Are they affraid of the Real American's voices that might get typed on there YOUTUBE video's. If they like censorship they should move there campaigns to CHINA! Tells a little about these top canidates they don't care what we have to say.
Arab Terrorists: a simple solution for you. For every American life life you take, you will receive, free of charge, one cruise missile on a mosque in the middle of service. For more good ideas, go to Olberman More Evidence Fox is Propaganda.
Everyone needs to email Ceos telling the want for a stable, sustainable, peaceful economy. Also that corporations need to be good citizens/part of the community set to high standards.
His specialty is lawsuits against hospitals for the birth defects of children, pursuing those lawsuits even when science called into question the accuracy of his assertions. Of course, in helping those poor children, he takes a massive cut of the money, thus becoming fabulously wealthy. But it's all about the children, really!
I still haven't come close to deciding who I want, as all the candidate of both parties have so many problems. I keep hoping that someone better will waltz in from stage right, though I don't hold out much hope for that. So, I'm tallying the positives & negatives for each candidate so I can choose the lesser of many evils when the time comes.
You know, I don't think any politician is going to ever be "genuine" enough. People's standards are way too high. Clue in people: They make 150,000 a year simply because they happen to be politicians. Of course they are not going to be just like you! Just like you is poor and uneducated, which is what the majority of Americans fail to realize themselves as being.
It's funny how fake Edwards is. He and the other Dems were in Chicago to speak the trial lawyers' association, not just some lawyers.
And, he pretends to oppose poverty, while at the same time he supports an illegal immigration amnesty, something that would increase illegal immigration to the U.S. and cause even more poverty.
Is Edwards in fact simply a parody of a fake politician?
I think its amazing that you started doing this just b/c I guess...And now you're getting interviews with the candidates and you're the person that they have to (or should) turn to to reach the younger generation. You should be proud of yourself, AND one day you're gonna be the person the asking the questions at the debates that we watch on the news. and yeah i'm rambiling good interview!
I would wonder if John Edwards would live in an average sized home & in other ways reduce his use of resources to the level of an ordinary American citizen, so that when he talks of us needing to reduce our use of resources.
Yes! In fact I think all the candidates in both parties need to take a step back & look at themselves & ask what they need to change in their lives before they start telling us how to change. The best way to lead is by example, to show that you really mean what you say & that it's not just the usual platitudes & sound bites to get elected. I'm hoping that with the internet & people like James, there will be more pressure on the politicians to live up to our expectations!
Good Job James you could have pushed Senator Edwards to stop the spin a little more especially with the Clinton issue. I wandered why you didn't ask him why he thinks this poverty tour will raise his poll numbers. Dan Rather told you the follow up question is the most important. Many Political Scientist doubt this Poverty tour will help Senator Edwards and I am interested to hear how he thinks it will happen.
One problem is that politicians need the media, so they end up having to go up against journalists working for major news organizations. If James pushes too hard on anything then he won't get any access to these people. I figure, at this point in his life, he's pushing it as far as he can while still being able to get these people to actually talk with him! One day he'll have the backing he needs to push the envelope, but it's just neat he gets to do this now!
Yeah, if they're working for someone, even if only a local station or newspaper, as that gives you some backing & poiticians aren't able to completely dodge the media. On his own James doesn't have that luxury. He has to ease into it, or his first confrontational interview would be his last. It wouldn't do him or us any good if none of the candidates were willing to talk to him- just look at how so many ignore questions from us citizens unless they what is asked.
I don't think that he lied, I think that with 8 candidates and one hour, they can't really have much of a debate at all. Break them up into smaller groups for smaller debates. I think even the lower tier candidates want more time to speak.
I agree with that re: the debates, and would like to see the same for the Republicans. More time for answers and less justification for inane "raise your hand" questions.
gmfutube, agreed. We want the debates to have more answers, but we also have a lot of people running for office who don't realize why they are low in the polls. Mike Gravel is a has-been senator who lost his own primary in 1980.
I think a few candidates need to decide whether they can win or not. The field is crowded and the answers are short.
I agree about more time. I do not believe that is what they meant at all though.
Gravel is the one they are looking to exclude. They have already tried. The upcoming debate on gay issues sponsored by the HRC was going to exclude him - and he has the strongest record on gay rights. What does that tell you?
This split-screen looks like they're speaking across a time warp: the interviewer is talking on a bluetooth headset -- to Edwards who's talking on a 1970's era corded phone.

John Edwards, expressing his knowledge, experiences, and vision, of the Domestic poverty issues, and the Worlds poverty issues, shows he is the type of person we need for President.

No sir, those polls don't show election results but money raised.
whitewolfsarctic 4 years ago
I've heard this really weird story, how the U.S. secret political society ships in females who engage in sexual activity for $1000 an hour, are Edwards's comments loaded with them ? Ooh boy, he must be pretty populair then.
Probably U.S. polls don't show votes but money raised with foragers.
whitewolfsarctic 4 years ago
Yeah corruption is being exposed world wide, the free people decided they had enough of living in suppression.
whitewolfsarctic 4 years ago
Hey John Edwards.
What is the link between you, John Kerry & George Bush, like are you old boys part of somekind of covert club ? And what about the American people, how much money did you made out of them by swindeling the 2004 elections ?
That is somekind of Methodism.

People said that about him in '03 and he ended up the last man to challenge Kerry - not Dean - and then he ended up on the ticket.

Thanks foor askinf the tough questions James.
Here is the transcript of Edwards-Clinton conspiracy.
Edwards: "WE should try to have..a more serious and a smaller group."
Clinton: Well...we..we've got to cut the number...because they are..because they are just being trivialized."
Edwards: ..and they're...they're not serious. They're not serious."
Clinton: No- you know I...I...I think there was an effort by our campaigns to do that, it got..it got somehow..detoured........"

He's a lawyer right?
ThinkSkeptic 4 years ago
His specialty is lawsuits against hospitals for the birth defects of children, pursuing those lawsuits even when science called into question the accuracy of his assertions. Of course, in helping those poor children, he takes a massive cut of the money, thus becoming fabulously wealthy. But it's all about the children, really!
RogCBrand 4 years ago
That's what I thought. His explanation of the little chitchat with Hillary sounded like a load of bull.
ThinkSkeptic 4 years ago
I still haven't come close to deciding who I want, as all the candidate of both parties have so many problems. I keep hoping that someone better will waltz in from stage right, though I don't hold out much hope for that. So, I'm tallying the positives & negatives for each candidate so I can choose the lesser of many evils when the time comes.
RogCBrand 4 years ago
You know, I don't think any politician is going to ever be "genuine" enough. People's standards are way too high. Clue in people: They make 150,000 a year simply because they happen to be politicians. Of course they are not going to be just like you! Just like you is poor and uneducated, which is what the majority of Americans fail to realize themselves as being.

James, great job getting my favorite candidate, John Edwards, for an interview.
lol998 4 years ago
It's funny how fake Edwards is. He and the other Dems were in Chicago to speak the trial lawyers' association, not just some lawyers.
And, he pretends to oppose poverty, while at the same time he supports an illegal immigration amnesty, something that would increase illegal immigration to the U.S. and cause even more poverty.
Is Edwards in fact simply a parody of a fake politician?
NoMoreBlatherDotCom 4 years ago
YES

"youtube journalist"
I think its amazing that you started doing this just b/c I guess...And now you're getting interviews with the candidates and you're the person that they have to (or should) turn to to reach the younger generation. You should be proud of yourself, AND one day you're gonna be the person the asking the questions at the debates that we watch on the news. and yeah i'm rambiling good interview!
jtkutcherpants 4 years ago
I would wonder if John Edwards would live in an average sized home & in other ways reduce his use of resources to the level of an ordinary American citizen, so that when he talks of us needing to reduce our use of resources.
RogCBrand 4 years ago
Same goes for that phony Al Gore.
gmfutube 4 years ago

James for President!
overmind25 4 years ago
Good Job James you could have pushed Senator Edwards to stop the spin a little more especially with the Clinton issue. I wandered why you didn't ask him why he thinks this poverty tour will raise his poll numbers. Dan Rather told you the follow up question is the most important. Many Political Scientist doubt this Poverty tour will help Senator Edwards and I am interested to hear how he thinks it will happen.
Leroyjustinb 4 years ago
One problem is that politicians need the media, so they end up having to go up against journalists working for major news organizations. If James pushes too hard on anything then he won't get any access to these people. I figure, at this point in his life, he's pushing it as far as he can while still being able to get these people to actually talk with him! One day he'll have the backing he needs to push the envelope, but it's just neat he gets to do this now!
RogCBrand 4 years ago
BS. The good ones push hard from the start.
gdstark 4 years ago
Yeah, if they're working for someone, even if only a local station or newspaper, as that gives you some backing & poiticians aren't able to completely dodge the media. On his own James doesn't have that luxury. He has to ease into it, or his first confrontational interview would be his last. It wouldn't do him or us any good if none of the candidates were willing to talk to him- just look at how so many ignore questions from us citizens unless they what is asked.
RogCBrand 4 years ago
I love watching James' face as Edwards tries to lie his way out of the remarks to Hillary.
Great job.
gmfutube 4 years ago
I don't think that he lied, I think that with 8 candidates and one hour, they can't really have much of a debate at all. Break them up into smaller groups for smaller debates. I think even the lower tier candidates want more time to speak.
lol998 4 years ago
I agree with that re: the debates, and would like to see the same for the Republicans. More time for answers and less justification for inane "raise your hand" questions.
rocketdogmedia 4 years ago
How about more answers and less BS?
gmfutube 4 years ago
gmfutube, agreed. We want the debates to have more answers, but we also have a lot of people running for office who don't realize why they are low in the polls. Mike Gravel is a has-been senator who lost his own primary in 1980.
I think a few candidates need to decide whether they can win or not. The field is crowded and the answers are short.
lol998 4 years ago
watch his body language - with the sound off.
I agree about more time. I do not believe that is what they meant at all though.
Gravel is the one they are looking to exclude. They have already tried. The upcoming debate on gay issues sponsored by the HRC was going to exclude him - and he has the strongest record on gay rights. What does that tell you?
gmfutube 4 years ago
Awesome, wish I could be like you.
