  • star killer?

  • I don't think Count Dooku should die. Because he is my favorite character.

  • It sounds a litle random when Palpatine suddenly says," Kill him...kill him now,"

  • poor obi wan...everytime he goes up against dooku he gets his ass kicked...how did he ever hold his own against anakin??

  • Could be that Dookus form II is able to fight against his form III because both forms are made so that wielder expends as little energy as possible and Dooku used a lot of force to disable Obi Wan because he thougth that he is more dangerous and wanted Anakin to turn do the dark side and was left with little force reserves.... just read the book its explained there nicely.

  • what book? im reading abyss now...and dooku wanted anakin to turn to the dark side? why?

  • The book has same name as the movie its called

The revenge of the sith. You have list of all novels of star wars on a wookipedia and a timeline so if you can look there.

Dooku wanted to turn Anakin to the dark side because he was ordered by Palpatine.

  • dooku is using makashi ,pal that explains his curved lightsaber ,its for a most elegant form of combat.

  • @nicotipro1 Makashi practicers use style and finesse instead of raw power. with simple fluries, dooku was still able to use the preserved power he didn't use in combat to knock obi wan away and drop a platform on him. Anakin used Djem So, a mastered form of Shien. Shien is the most defensive form there is. Djem So adds the agressive into the style, making it very powerful and the only style to defeat Makashi. Djem So can be easily defeated with Force, since Djem So does not preserve power.

  • @Theseus1000 It was that Palpatine would save Dooku when he was overwhelmed, but saw that Anakin was better than Dooku, so he betrayed the Count bu letting him die.

Form III: Soresu: Good protection against numerous lightsabers (e.g. Grievous), enough power left to use force.

Form II: Makashi: Simple but accurate and dangerous, enough power to use force, but raw power can draw the power away from the Form II user. Djem So=Super agressive + defensive

  • @STR33TSofJUST1C3 Well, Dooku was deliberately teasing the Jedi at first, underpowering himself greatly. Only when they revealed in turn THEY had been underpowering themselves, did Dooku take the fight more seriously. By then, he poise and balance had been thrown. Even so, it goes to show even when tricked, Dooku lashed out and knocked the Sith slayer Obi Wan right out of action. Dooku wound Anakin up with Dun Moch - and it backfired instead of disorientated. Skywalker won because Dooku weakened

  • @BrockL191 In the end he didn't, he died like a pussy.

  • @BrockL191 Anakin uses Djem So: Super agressive and super defensive

Obi uses Soresu: Very defensive but still able to use enough force

Count uses Makashi: Very accurate and swiftly and able to use many force powers

Obi wan 'killed' anakin with a force technique, anakin's technique wasn't able to protect him from such a force attack and lost his limbs.

  • good edit. nice trimming. p.s. i always thought Dooku's demise was too easily accomplished--Dooku was portrayed as a badass, then suddenly POOF. ........Starwars inconsistency time again. hehe

  • How come you can see the shadow of obi-wans lightsaber at 1:17? I thought light cant have a shade...

  • lol, you right, thats a bug, the lightsaber was not activated, and light have no shadow, thats the shadow of the plastic sword.

  • dude its a movie not real.......

its just a toy sword wit light effect

    then add effect on computer...

  • It's a movie that reaches for 'realism' and it sure did cost more than ten bugs to do.

They just missed it, that's all.

  • oh O_O

    didnt know that

  • Its not a bug, lightsaber does not have same properties like normal light because its "frozen laser" so if you put another brighter light above or on side of that laser it would cast a shadow because its darker than the other light ... don't think of it as a flash light.

  • bullshit. anything emits light can not have a shadow. anakin's saber shadows are edited off in the next scene...

  • Buy a toy lightsaber and try it out it emits light and then tell us :)

  • I own a couple of master replicas lightsabres and none of them has a shadow when theyre on... cept for the hilt. :)

  • @turbodizel lol yeah but in star wars they do for some reason. Watch Return of the Jedi or other ones and you will see the same thing. Also, they are completely opaque and not actualy made of light from my understanding (Its just an awesome name) so the shadow in the star wars universe could make sense. But yes light doesnt give off a shadow typically.

  • I actually don't like the changes you made, but props for the effort you put into it. As you said yourself in the description, Anakin's decision is much too quick in this version. I also didn't like that you took out Dooku making the platform fall onto Obi-Wan, because I thought it needed that break in the middle. But again, nice effort.

  • nvm u didnt edit him to purple lightsaber...

    i thought u did..

  • nice job man.
