Let me get this straight... Green Peace is going to fight global warming by sending a bag of hot air up into the sky, produced by burning a gas which is the product of fossil fuels.

That's kind of like flying your private jet to a global warming conference in Copenhagen. Flippin' idiots.

Sea shepherd is doing the right thing, but blaming Europeans about global warming is like blaming the Whales for being caught, only aggressive and violent acts against China and Japan will have results, this is just fundraising!

Hot air balloons are NOT green! Why don't they put the money for anti-whaling and soon is the baby harp seal hunt. They should also give out information on how to become a vegetarian or better yet vegan. How factory farming is far worse then car emissions. I wish they would give out free vegetarian starter kits as factory farming is a HELL for all animals.

There is a holocaust going on and they do nothing. They KNOW this yet do nothing about it. Basing all YOUR money on anti-whaling. Sinful.

Totally agree! Plus the fork with meat on it is far worse then EVERYONE driving a Hummer. They get not one penny from me as they wouldn't even give The Sea Shepherd fuel when they, The Sea Shepherd are actually helping the whales, baby harp seals, and Captain Paul Watson came here to San Diego as they wanted to take the beach from the Harbor seals here. He offered a 2,000.00 reward for anyone harassing the seals here which is against the law yet no one was enforcing it. Greenpeace is not of aide

Does anyone else find it ironic that greenpeace paid for a HOT-AIR baloon shaped as the earth with the message "Stop global warming?". Also, why doesn't greenpeace invest in clean renewable energy? They made 156,000,000 EUR after fundraising costs in 2007.

OOPS! I put my vote in the wrong place! I voted thumbs up when I thought the one word ---"beautiful" --- was praising the above comment. Then I realized this post was probably left by an overworked "greenpeace" activist who had sat too long in one space. One can only suppose that the word beautiful described the burning flame from the balloon. I can actually laugh at the logic, or lack of, that you people show.
