@ryuubateson Nah, but when you look at this one it even has those weird backgrounds from action anime and the whole beginning is pretty much something straight out of an anime episode. I play alot of JRPGs nowadays but this one stood about because of that unique aspect.

The Wild Arms series is kinda like the Star Trek movies in terms of quality, only in reverse (ST's evens #s rocked, while the odd #s sucked).

Wild Arms 1, 3, & 5 all rocked, but 2 & 4 sucked it hardcore. I dread if and when 6 comes out, cuz I just know it's gonna suck.

but they were remodled as a weapon only a select few could use. Then In 5 every one has an ARM. In alter code F they were a product of war as means to beat back filgaia's enemy. the ones excavated are called original ARMs and one ARM Meisters said that the ARM was a "living thing" and the only way to operate one was to accept it as an extention of oneself, and only those with a strong will could passify the ARMS appitiefor destruction.

In each game The acyonem of A.R.M.S changes.

in wild arms 2 ARMs were made from dragon fossils, In Wild Arms 3 they were also made from dragon fossils, later in the game clive tells you that the reason that ARMs are constructed from dragon fossils is because they tend to do more damage and those with a larger physic skill can link with the arm and boost the damage out put. Then in 4 it was a method to restore the planet with nano machines, this was also mentioned in WA3 by Virginia's Father and Clive at diffrent points in the game.

wild arms 2 will always be mine. I ve heard something intresting though. It was shown on a forum website that all the wild arms series are nothing but AUs. All the things happening in one AU are happening at the sametime in another AU.

I see, so its not just an improvement over WA4, but also a whole nother experience, I'm liking the cutscenes and the cheesy dialogue is just what I need after playing games like Persona 3.

ur right, WA 3 was tough but it was the deepest and most challenging of all 5 +A.F those who can master 3 can master any W.A game. plus i kinda like the old style battle(no hexes) reminds me of final fantasy lol

PS2 ended up with great JRPG's from Sony's niche series which supposed to be the best part in the series from the PS2 era (WA5, Suikoden V). Media Vision needs to continue their improvement for the WA series but I think we have to wait for WA6. Since march last year they were looking for Wii programmers so I guess they have to finished their Wii project until they start to work on WA6 for PS3. But anyway, great soundtrack for WA5!

I agree with KeithjXD, this was a big improvement from the weak WA2, WA3 and WA4. Actually, I know some liked WA3 but it wasn't anything special. WA4 was just cheap, but this one keep me interested. I hope they make a sixth installment of WA soon, but I guess it will take some time. I want WA6 and Suikoden VI for PS3.

It's different from them by being the same as the other Wild ARMs games.If you couldn't get into 3, I doubt you'd find 5 any different.
