TRUE STORY- Peter Allen was in concert on Showtime back when this was a hit. He closed the show with this song. I had no idea he was gay. I just wanted to hear this song. My father didn't wonder if I was playing on that side of the fence. I loved the music! I didn't know about Elton John either(even with the costumes). Who gives a shit if it's good music. I must admit that if I saw this video at my age back then....

There is a latin american band called "the sacados" that sampled this song years ago. It is called "ritmo de la noche" and is a good song. Anyone interested in this song because coldplay sampled it might get a kick out of hearing another sample.

thanks for posting this. I'm 56 yrs old and just turned my daughter on to this. She's blown away!! Didn't know this kind of stuff existed and now she's sharing with her friends. Ah, we always wonder if 'the next' generation will get it. We just have to show it to them! Thanks again!
