@TheGuitarmaster77 Well if it didnt swell up to the size of a cantaloupe then it wasnt broken ? Mine swelled for about week, but then i realized the bone wasnt straight. . . idk i freaked out on it for a few weeks but its fine now. . . should have just gone to the hospital. If nothing else i learned to control my anger a bit more. . . its not worth hurting yourself. . .
Is that seriously the best thumbs up you can give? Were you able to make a fist before they put the pins in ? I can make a fist just fine, maybe i dont need pins?
@wreklessabandon Nah mine was almost healed up by the time the doctors ever looked at it and it was healing like that. They kept screwing me around giving me temporary casts and sending me home with a big fat bill till i got the surgery then they had to rebreak it and set it with the pin. I only got one pin though, all comes out tomorrow.
@Kaelidian I had an appointment today and some dumb clerk didnt put it on the computer just the file so they tried to reschedule for another week and I got home, took my cast off and used examples from youtube to remove the pin myself with a pair of pliers. Now they can take their 15 dollar co-pay and shove it.
@wreklessabandon lol yeah well after wearing that cast for all the time before the surgery only to have my pinky rotate and then get surgery and wear a cast for a total of 12 weeks I was tired of being dicked around. And nah man I have a 30,000 dollar hand now lol.
@wreklessabandon Yeah true that, at least I broke it on someones face instead of punching a wall or something stupid lol. I screwed my wrist up on a wall, same hand many years prior lol.
You must have great insurance!!!!! Now i would get a lawyer and sue the shit out of them for not making the correct diagnosis!! I mean if it were me, a person without insurance. . . they would have rolled an ace bandage around it and gave me the card of some over-priced orthopedist. . . how'd you break it again ?

@helmetless everything is better now! hand works perfectly again! it was stiff for a while...probably took a full year to get back to feel normal, but I was able to use it fully after 3 or 4 months without worrying about it
How is your hand now? I think I broke some bones and I am so mad at myself.

I have exactly the same thing! I get my pin out in just less than a month how does it feel when it comes out? Can you use your hand again now?

@wreklessabandon my pinky was rotated and would push against my ring finger really hard when i tried to clench thats why I had to have the pin.

@helmetless everything is better now! hand works perfectly again! it was stiff for a while...probably took a full year to get back to feel normal, but I was able to use it fully after 3 or 4 months without worrying about it
