Nice rig & video. I have a FT01 also, it's an excellent case. The positive air pressure system works really well, I have better temps in this than I do in my other system based on a Coolermaster HAF932. Thanks for sharing
would you rate highly of this case, because im working on a new build (specs below) and i wanted to know opinions on the case to see if i should get one :)
I'm no expert overclocker, but after abit of tweaking ended up setting the FSB to 400, and the Vcore to 1.4250. Temps are high, around the 75-80C region. But thats acceptable imo......just. It doesnt get that hot on games, so its all good.
Considering dropping it to 3.4GHz for the summer as it is getting abit hot here now and temps are rising.
yeh its just as simple as upping the frequency in the BIOS, but honestly it makes little to no difference so i wouldn't recommend it. You can also change the voltage, but be careful as its easy to kill your ram.
Nice build m8. In regard to the ttop filter, have you tried turning the unit 90 degrees so that it removes from the side of the case ? Maybe the cable won't allow, just a thought though.

A piece of advice: wait for the 5800-series
Moderaten031 2 years ago
I love it. The only thing that id change, is the fan filter on the top fan, its hard to access for cleaning.
otherwise id say its pretty much perfect.
Also, id agree with Moderaten031, wait for the 5800's, its only a few days now. Good luck with the build :)

bro,
@ 0:53 can you tell me what is that thing wrapping your fan cables through your 5.25 fan controller and where did you buy it?
it looks neat and make your case cleaner when looked at different side. great thinking.
thanks in advance for answering.
cheers

tight those pci-e power cables a bit more, or pass those below the zotac 260. that way they`ll look much better.

What happen to the top 'toolless drive bay'?
Did you remove it?
azfarjamshah 2 years ago
yea, im not a fan of any toolless designs myself. i prefer a solid screw to be on the safe side :)

don't you think those temps are a bit high??? it could damage your CPU or mobo...
flappy1114 2 years ago
Did you really got the Q6600 to 3.6 on air? If you did can you tell me your BIOS settings? BTW what are your load temps they must be very high....

Do you know how do you overclock RAM. I have 800MHz RAM so I can overclock my RAM higher do I do this just by increasing the frequency???

yeh its just as simple as upping the frequency in the BIOS, but honestly it makes little to no difference so i wouldn't recommend it. You can also change the voltage, but be careful as its easy to kill your ram.

good cable management
P.S. i have the same case :)
DriveByFM08 2 years ago
what your GPU temps in that case? i have similar spec of your pc. anyway. did your hdd hooked up? i don;t see sata cables
ginjopowder 2 years ago
the GPU is heavily overclocked, temps are 46 idle atm, and go up to around 75-80C load.
the hard drive sata cables are black, you can see them if you look closely on the pic showing the back, thanks for the comment.

What are the other knobs on your fan controller for? I only see 3 fans on this Case. Nice build btw!
Rubb3rWheels 2 years ago
