  • Where ddi you get sticky back canvas? Thanks

  • merciiiiiiiiiii super

  • Hi Jann, that was super duper cool. I just got myself some stains so I'll be trying them out this week, thanks for the inspiration. Look forward to the next play session! Jan.

  • I enjoyed today's creative play a lot!

What is the name of the tool you used to make the center of the flower? and where can I get it?

I would like to PLAY and learn fro m you how to use artistic blending chalks :)

    Thanks! Vkia

    Vkia

  • @vkiavian Hey Vkia...the tool is called the i-Top from Imaginisce. It is super cool...am going to be doing a tutorial on using it in the next week or so....so you might check back on my channel (if you aren't subscribed) - to see all the things that you can do with it...it is very versatile. I think they sell them at Michaels...or you could probably find one on a Canadian Ebay seller. Thanks for the suggestion about the chalk...I will see what I might be able to come up with!

  • Really did enjoy this. Saw the stains on Tim Holtz tutorial and you have really got me wanting some. Have to wait a bit but not long. Thanks so much for the inspiration. Would love to have copy of your pledge.

  • Wow . Amazing how many different things you can do with the same products. Will have to get ahold of some distress stains and inks. Thanks for the inspiration to just create.

  • @tachar So glad that you found some inspiration for your own art! I hope you will share it with us - we are all learning together. I am really pleased with all the things that I found I could do with Distress Stains...am going to have to explore MORE with those. Have a great week!

  • Oh no...I need to get my hands on a few of these stains! Thanks for showing us your playtime, Jann!

    JeanneLee

  • @homeschmomof4 Hey JeanneLee - so glad you had fun...I think I enjoy the playtime even more when I get to share it with you fun ladies! You will enjoy playing with the stains, I know!

  • Love the pledge!

  • @Craftylizette So glad you like it! Hope you will continue to play along.

  • This was FUN, FUN, FUN. Watching you play around. I love it when other people "experiment" and find out the "What If" and see the good results and the not so good. Looks like I need to step out of my fear and get hold of some of those Distress Stains. Thanks for this!!!

    Love you - Leslie

  • @boknstet Yeah Leslie! You challenge me to step out from my paralysis of perfection ALL the time...I love how you boldly start down a path and just keep working with it until it gets you the results you want! Love you too girl!

  • I was just looking at those distress stains at the craft store the other day. Love the look you got on the dictionary pages. I'm experimenting with some new stamps this morning. I'm going to go have a look at your blog. TFS! ~ Pat :)

  • @PatsTreasuresNCrafts Hey Pat...they are super fun to play with...and after experimenting with them, I am realizing ways that I will really enjoy using them in addition to other ink supplies. I don't want to get more "shtuff" just for the sake of "shtuff" - but when I see how I can use them a lot in my art - then I am happy to invest! Hope you have some fun playing with them too - please share what you find out as I am just starting with them too!

  • Hi Jann,

I am going to love this series hehe. Could I please have a copy of the pledge Jann? I am going to print it out on nice cardstock and decorate it and put in front of me at my craft desk. Thanks so much for the inspiration as always Jann.

    Hugs

    Michelle

  • I also thought of another thing I'd like you to play with. Tags, I've done some image tag swaps and I love the images but it seems like since I didn't put the stamp to paper myself I just sit and stare at them and don't know what to do to make it "mine"

  • @LouisiLana Oooo that is a great idea! I have some of those kinds of image swaps too! I will have to let that idea run around in my head a bit and see what we come up with! You have inspired me! Thanks!

  • So cool! I want to get some of the stains now and play! Hopefully sometime this week i can get them. But tomorrow I'm definitely going to play with what i do have! Thanks for this series!

  • @duckigrrl YEAH!!!!! That is the whole point...to encourage you to just want to go and PLAY! Have a great week! If you have a moment and would be willing to- please visit my blog and post a link sharing what you have fun creating!

  • Thanks for the info really liked watching do that. I thought that what they were just water down ink until you told they were not

  • @craftergm Glad that helped you...it was interesting to me to see how differently they reacted. Thanks for stopping by~!

  • Duh resist techniques! About to do some on my Halloween mini, thanks for the inspiration & information. Ready to play and can't wait for the next class :)

  • @LouisiLana Oh YEAH! If you have time, drop by my blog and post a sneak peak to how you used the inspiration! Have fun!

  • I love your series mantra! I have been in a creative rut for quite a while. I can't wait to see what you create! Thank you so much :)

    Jenny

  • @jen043066 Hey Jenny - thanks for stopping by - I hope you will take some time for Creative Play and see if it helps you out of the rut!

  • Fabulous! Love the Perfect Pearls and the multi medium as a resist. Never thought of using it for stamping and resisting. TFS!

    Brigitte

  • @shoeprincess1 Yeah...that will be a fun thing for you to try! Let me know how it turns out. Thanks for coming by and hanging out for a while.
