I find it unsafe that there is no kerb on the edge from the unloading floor to the conveyor pit. I know a lot of stupid drivers who(se trucks) are saved by that kerb daily...
Small things with a hand shovel, larger things with a small wheel loader? That's what we do over here... And often there's a few holes in the curb, either in center of lane or between lanes so you can wash the sticky things down the slope with a water hose...
